The location was great and we were pleasantly surprised how walk able Savannah is. Really enjoyed our room and there were no issues sharing the bathrooms. Rick was very nice and helpful. This was our first Air bnb experience and we would definitely do again.
The location of Rick's home was ideal for the wonderful walking city of Savannah. We went everywhere in
Savannah on foot and with the DOT bus. Great restaurants cloise and the beautiful Forsythe Park. We also did not have any problem parking on the street. Rick was a gracious host and we enjoyed coming home to share our findings with him and to get his take on what we experienced. We shared a bathroom which was not iideal, and there was not enough space to unpack, so we rummaged thru suitcases too much. Otherwise an enjoyable stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Rick. He was very accomodating in letting my husband set up his computer downstairs on his table when he had to work on Saturday night. The room was perfect and the location of his home was great with the DOT bus stop just around the corner. We highly recommend his home to others and hope to stay again in the future. Thank you again, Rick.
This is a comfortable, tranquil and very conveniently-loated home in the historic district. The guest room had nice period charm but is not fancy. The shared bathroom is small but functional. The host was relaxed and friendly without being intrusive. We would certainly stay here again.
Rick was truly the perfect and hospitable host! :)
He was very knowledgeable and made the entire stay a comfortable one.
The house was just stunning and fits the mold of the true Savannah lifestyle.
We will definitely be in touch with Rick for future weekend getaways to Savannah!
Rick was very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. We were fortunate enough to get the opportunity to stay with him and it was very interesting to talk to him about his life and past experiences when we asked. He also had plenty of recommendations if you need them. As far as the room itself, it was very nice and even had a working fireplace which was kind of unique. The room, bathroom, and house had everything we could have wanted. If it was a bit warmer the back porch looked like it would have been nice as well. The location near Forsyth Park was convenient to the park and everything around it, to include many cafés and bars that you wouldn't get to only wandering around down by the river. Parking was also great as you didn't have to compete with the masses or pay downtown. We literally parked right in front of the house every time we tried. It was also conveniently located next to a large grocery store and a very nice liquor shop in case you need to visit either of those during your stay.
Overall, a great place to stay and a great host.....only wished I could have stayed a bit longer. I will definitely look up Rick and his other properties next time I visit Savannah.
Our visit to Savannah was wonderful and you could not of asked for a better host than Rick. The accommodations were wonderful and
you could walk downtown, with a lot to see along the way. Rick's home has a very warm, welcoming, southern feel to it.
Rick's has a lovely and comfortable home, within walking distance to just about everything! My husband and I had a wonderful time exploring beautiful downtown Savannah by foot! Great location, great host!
Ric was a pleasant, low key host. The location was perfect for walking in the Historic District. Would not hesitate to stay again.
Rick's place was great. Clean, easy to figure out, and in a great spot in the historic district, and not too far away from the center of town but far enough to be quiet. Rick was very clear and welcoming with his messages (we didn't get to meet him) and even gave us options when it appeared travel home might have delays.
