  • Michael's place is spacious and exceptionally well cared for, and he is a generous and hospitable host. His place is walking distance from a beautiful park and excellent restaurants, as well as right on the bus line into downtown. I was very glad I stayed here!

  • Across the street from a fantastic bakery, next door to a nice coffeehouse, and 5 doors up is MOTR pub, where I heard some awesome bands of varying types. There is a restaurant called Mulberry's less than a block away which was pretty good.

There is on street parking, most of which is metered, so you have to be out by 8AM or feed the meter. Many nights I found an unmetered space. The unit is on the 4th floor, but no problem for me.

    I'd stay there again!

  • Michael is an amazing host. Truly a gentleman and a scholar. The apartment is a fourth floor walk up in the historic Over the Rhine district of Cincinnati. The architecture in the area is amazing and there are convenience stores, coffee houses, bars, a yoga studio and loads of art galleries. On the block I found a bar with great live music and numerous vegetarian items on the menu, such as a killer marinated Portobello mushroom burger. The neighborhood is a happening place and for my purposes was perfect. I walked daily to the courthouse, library, and to the Duke Energy Convention Center. I was thrilled with this experience and hope Michael will let me stay with him again, as I have research work in Cincinnati quite often.

  • Expected a nice, clean apartment located close to downtown Cincinnati and Michael delivered as advertised. Walked to restaurants and shops while we stayed for the weekend. Although Michael was away, he managed to make us feel welcome and was available for any questions. Positive all around experience.

  • Michael is a very kind host! I was unsure of how to get around as it was my first time at Cincinnati but Michael helped me with my transportation worries and even offered to let me take his car! The apartment is very clean and quiet which was what I needed as I was preparing for an interview. There were some really nice coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance too that were (thankfully!) open during the easter weekend that I was there. This was a very nice first airbnb experience for me and I highly recommend staying with him.

  • I live in Washington DC and thrive on downtown experiences, and this place did not let me down. Michael was a very gracious host from afar, as he was working and spending quality time with his gal. To his credit, though, he ensured that I had a wingman downstairs to get me the keys and advise me on neighborhoood matters. Michael also gave me his sistér's number and she was helpful via call and text as well. Since I was traveling from New Orleans to Cleveland wtih only Nashville as a previous stop, I was a bit sleep-deprived and would have needed less help than if I had been more alert. The room for rent in his apartment is spacious and has a nice view since he's on the top floor.

  • i stayed for almost a month. Micheal is one of the coolest hosts i have ever met. he is very welcoming, helpful, and he does everything to make you feel home. staying at his place was better than a five star hotel. the place is spacious, right next to the bus line, clean, and warm :). you feel home as soon as u step in. i will definitely come back.
