The apartment was comfortable to live in and in an excellent area; within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go to. There was plenty of storage space in the apartment and the host prepared towels etc. for us to use. The only downsides to living in this space were that we had to carry our suitcases up a few flights of stairs to get to the penthouse studio, and that the wind outside at night is extremely loud.
Thank you for your kind comments. I am sorry that your stay happened during near gale winds in London. This is a rare occasion. However being on the fifth floor in the Penthouse the sound can be a little louder that on the more protected lower floors. It is, however, the first time this is mentionned to me in over my 15 years of renting. The site clearly indicates that the lift stops at the third floor and that two flights of stairs needs to be taken to reach the Penthouse Studio.
It is really a very nice and beautyful apartment in the wonderful area of Covent Garden and from there we enjoyed unforgetable days in London. The booking and the arrival with getting the keys was quiet easy. We will join again for our next trip, if we are welcome. It was our first booking on Airbnb and we will do it again.
We had a wonderful stay at jean-marcs pent house in London!
The penthouse was close to absolutely everything we wanted to see and had great kitchen facilities!!
I highly recommend this accommodation for any couple wanting to see the sites in London!
Excellent location and amenities, very close to central London and transport links. This place was ideal for our needs.
We had an amazing stay in Jean Marc's flat- it was situated perfectley in the center and was cozy an comfortable! We would defiantly want to stay there again in our next stay in London.
Great location, being close to many and varied restaurants and cafes, shopping, west end theatres (including the New London Theatre right across the road!) and tourist attractions. Spacious and neat apartment - we'd be happy to stay there again, thanks Jean-Marc
