Welcome to our guest house located 200 meters from the famous Jemaa El Fna square, in a typical and quiet street in the medina of Marrakech.
We have the possibility to acccomodate you with one room but also your whole family or friends by making the entire riad at your disposition at a negotiated price ... do not hesitate to contact us.
This is the story of our Moroccan adventure:
We are from Belgium and we acquired our Riad in August 2006 ... We fell in love immediately.
The house had already been renovated by an Italian architect a few years earlier, but still needed some upgrades and repairs (airconditioning and so on).
So we began to renovate it while preserving its unique style of old century home. We therefore used the materials and applied the techniques of yesteryear to renovate and develop the riad: carved ceilings, tadelakt walls, zelliges (moroccan tiles) floors, antique furniture, copper sinks ...
As a result our home has found its luster of the past with a few changes though: installation of air conditioning (hot / cold) in all rooms and a Jacuzzi built in the small patio on the ground floor ...
Today, the house can easily accommodate 6 guests thanks to its three double bedrooms. (the fourth room is reserved for our housekeeper who takes care of the house and our guests).
Welcome at home, welcome in Marrakech, and ask us your questions about your stay. We are at your disposal to help you organize your holidays (tours, car rentals, guides, restaurants ...)
Yann and David
PS. all our prices include : free wifi and free breakfast (Orange juice, coffee or tea, bread, croissant/pancake)
The apartment is really nice though we had to get used to the windowless bedroom (which is very common in the old houses of the medina). Yann was very quick to respond and accomodate us although he was not physically present. The housekeeper Fouzia was there to guide us to the apartment and prepare breakfast for us which we had on the great roof terrace. Good value for money if you want to have some privacy and not a traditional Riad (guest house).
If you want immediate access to The Medina (Djemaa El-Fna), then this Riad's for you! If you want a quieter, less chaotic location, you may want to look elsewhere. My daughter and I stayed for several nights in the upstairs apartment and were quite comfortable. We loved the roof terrace as well, and spent time hanging out there in the evenings. And yes, the wifi reached throughout the Riad, including the terrace. While Yann was out of town when we visited, his housekeeper Fouiza was incredibly helpful and friendly (though a French / Arabic speaker only). They were both quite flexible too, as we ended up extending our stay another night.
One word of caution on The Medina and Riad location - you have to walk down a local road (what I'd call an alley) after navigating through the Medina, then after say 250 meters, turn left and walk another 100 meters to find the Riad. While there are some scattered streetlights, we were a little concerned about safety on our first night out and back. But we never had any issues or concerns and met several local residents who were generally quite friendly.
Perfect location. Clean and Friendly service. Breakfast was nice (Moroccan pancakes) with fresh juice and they were really flexible with time.
Before arrival I had In my mind an image of a traditional Riad with a courtyard, this wasn't quite like that. It's definitely an old Moroccan home though, more akin to a two story townhouse with a nice rooftop terrace.
I liked it very much and for the price, we felt it was very good value.
Yann was very responsive all throughout and helped us with our many questions, including arranging a day trip for us which was much appreciated. All in all a nice place to stay.
The place is even better than in the pics, central position in Medina but quite and private. The caretaker (Fouzia) was very accommodating, the room was clean and nice and we highly recommend it. The terrace is amazing for breakfast and sunset!
Lovely Riad, lovely housekeeper, great location. The riad is relatively small and cosy, so don't expect a huge inner courtyard or a massive roof terrace, but it is great with many original details, well-functioning wifi and bathroom, and a super helpful housekeeper (and son/driver/entertainer). Recommended!
Booked this at VERY short notice and couldn't have been happier. Despite being OS Yann was all over it in terms of communication and replied almost instantly to everything. Their house keeper Fouza speaks only French and the international language of "here's your delicious breakfast I just cooked for you". She's very nice and keeps the place spotless. The house itself is really nice - they've done a superb job doing up quite an old Riad in gorgeous Moroccan style. The roof top patio with views is worth the price of admission. Location is great - 4min walk from the main square. Good times!!
Very central and convenient location and good value in a traditional and comfortable riad.
Yann the owner was very helpful and answered any questions we had and solved any problems we had .

Welcome to our page.
We live in Brussels, in Belgium but and own two rental properties: 1 in Marrakech and 1 in Florida (Orlando)
When we visited the property, it was "love at first sight". It's very well located in a quiet and safe street just a few steps away from the famous square PLACE JEMA EL FNA. We met Fouzia almost at the same time... she's now working with us, taking care of all our guests... She's an amazing person, always caring for the others. We're sure you'll love her.
We hope we'll be able to receive you in Marrakech and make you enjoy the city and its neighbourdhood.
FLORIDA - ORLANDO
We had friends in the Orlando - Walt Disney World area... and visited them in 2011. We really loved the area and decided to go for a house hunt... We found a little diamond in the rough... and after purchasing it, David, co-owner of the house, spent two months in Florida, renovating the property. New furnitures, new paint, now floors, some new appliances... David has worked as HEAD OF SALES for Disneyland Paris for 5 years... and has made all the updates with "Customer's satisfaction" in mind... You will feel at home, close to the parks, but in a very stylish and quiet villa...
Don't hesitate to contact us for more information... we'll be more than happy to share with you our passion of the country/city.
