  • Great appartment! Suzanne, the host, leaves you a paper with all the neccesary instructions for the app and with info about the neighbourhood!. you really feel at home!
This was my first Airbnb experience and it was fantastic! Next time im in NY I will repeat this place :)

  • Great apartment, in a fantastic location. Lots of great shops and restaurants, and the subway is just 1 block away. The apartment was charming, and very clean. Overall a great experience, and we would stay here again.

  • Suzanne was an excellent host! She sent the keys to me by mail in advance of my visit. She was very responsive and accommodating. Communication was fantastic. Her lovely apartment was in a prime location and was very comfortable for our visit. Thanks Suzanne!

  • Well, how do I start. The place is very small, 1 person or 2 max would be able to stay here, luckily I was by myself. But for $160 per night, I highly regret moving here from the hotel I was staying (Mela in Midtown), which was much higher-end, clean and even better located for $170 per night. To top things off, the offered me a "discount" of $60 to undo her bed and drop the linens at the laundry of her building on arrival, where I had to pick the keys. My friends, this is in the basement of an old 1920's building (and not charming at ALL), so I had to undo the bed, look for new linens and make the bed, walk 5 stories back and forth to drop the linens, her trashcans had GARBAGE so I'm not sure if the bathroom was cleaned before I got there like she claims (yuck). Then at my departure I had to follow very specific instructions to leave the linens I used in the laundry in the basement of her building (again, 5 freaking stories), go to another building to leave any trash bags and leave the keys in a specific table before departing. So I estimate I spent about 3-4 hours of my trip doing housekeeping chores. I was not going to say anything or complain, but now I received a private message from her (a full month after) "I was not happyto hear my bed was knocked off the lifts". What? what does that message even mean?? I have no idea but that is the icing on the cake. Bottom line is that the price would be good if it was true that more than 2 fit in her place but that is not true. Sorry. There are TONS of better places to stay. It was a good location in an old building with cluttered, old low-end furniture. Were you will have to change linen, do your own bed on arrival, and perform housekeeping duties at arrival and departure and drag your bags up 5 flights. Horrible experience.

  • Was perfect for us. Terrific location, cozy and comfortable. And Suzanne, our gracious host, did a wonderful job with the weather, too!!

    October 2013
  • We appreciated our stay: the location is great (a few blocks from Central Park, really close to a subway station, and a great grocery store).
However it's a small new-york apartment and Suzanne has a lot of stuff, so finding some space for the luggage or on the shelves is a bit of a Tetris game!

    July 2013
  • Great location, especially for the fireworks - an easy walk to riverside park. Easy to get to the natural history museum, Central Park and the met. Great cafes and shops in the area too.

    July 2013
  • We had a wonderful vacation in New York and Suzanne's apartment was the perfect place to start and end our day. There's an abundance of restaurants in the area so there was always something new to try when we returned after a day out exploring the city.

This was our first Airbnb experience and everything was well arranged and organized by Suzanne and her friend, who welcomed us to the apartment. Check-in and check-out was a breeze and the welcome package answered any questions that would have come up in our stay. All in all, a great place to stay!
