Located just a few miles from the east entrance of Joshua Tree National Park, you’ll enjoy the calm and peace that the high-desert has to offer. Revel in the sunsets and the endless sea of stars. Reliable Wi-Fi & STATE-of-THE ART A/C & heat.
Rancho de Ardilla is a two bedroom house with one and a half bathrooms, both featuring gorgeous tile art by local artist and photographer Perry Hoffman (owner and visionary behind the Tile House, just down the road). Stunning magical views in every direction bring the wonder and beauty of the desert to expand your sense of your place on this planet.
The Rancho has a beautiful open main room with heavy beams on the ceiling and French doors that open directly into the expansive backyard where you can sit for hours underneath the endless sea of stars. During the hot months, you can sit underneath the shaded front porch. When you go outside, please remember to wear something on your feet – there are many sharp things in the desert, and Rancho de Ardilla can be a prickly place!
Rancho de Ardilla is dog-friendly, and the front and back yards are fenced and secure. Inside, we have Wi-Fi, STATE-OF-THE ART A/C and heating (IMPORTANT in the summer and winter months!), an iPod dock, a selection of books, DVDs and games for your further enjoyment. Fresh linens and towels and kitchen supplies are already on the premises.
Located just a few miles from the east entrance of Joshua Tree National Park, Rancho de Ardilla is an ideal retreat for rock climbers and park visitors. Just a few more miles and you’ll be in the center of 29 Palms where there are plenty of restaurants and galleries to visit.
