Linda's home is beautiful, clean and comfortable. San Marco Square is only a few blocks away. There are a few restaurants in the square and along a very nice adjacent street. I enjoyed driving along the river in the area as well. Just across the bridge is the Riverside area, with the Riverwalk, the Cummer Art Center & gardens and Memorial Park (also along the river). Getting into Downtown (Hemming Park, MOCA, etc) is very easy. I really enjoyed my stay and hope Linda's place is available next time I stop in Jacksonville.

I had stayed with Linda once before. This time it was just like visiting a friend! We chatted about many different topics. I admired her furnishings. She'd acquired a new rug. I was deeply touched when I learned Linda had gone online to discover where I might be able to purchase specific clothing for my disabled brother. She's most considerate & thoughtful.

Staying in San Marco with Linda was a wonderful experience. Linda is a gracious host and provides a lovely, comfortable room for one person. I really enjoyed her two cats and their personalities. Linda went over and above to make me feel at home and helped me discover the neighborhoods of Jacksonville. I enjoyed her company and we easily talked for hours. The location is perfect for a walk to the square and river and an easy ride to downtown and the beaches. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it.

This was my first Air B&B experience and it was just so much more than what I had expected. Linda was helpful, friendly and absolutely wonderful - even brewed me some coffee in the morning and offered freshly baked banana bread. The bed is very comfortable while the room was clean and neat. She really goes the extra mile by offering 'incase' items such as tooth brush, soap and more. I would recommend this to absolutely anyone! Linda was a wonderful host...she made me muffins, gave me ride on a rainy day, and provided a clean, quiet, and comfortable space to stay while visiting friends at Wolfson Children's Hospital.

Linda was a fantastic host. She has an extremely cute home with 2 very loving cats. Very friendly. The location was about a 10 minute walk to the hotel where my conference was. 5 minutes in the other direction of Linda's home was local shopping and restaurants. On my last day Linda drove me to my conference because I had a heavy bag with me. I definitely recommend staying with Linda!

As a former Innkeeper of three Bed and Breakfasts I am no stranger to the hospitality field. I currently work in that field in a local restaurant. I enjoy entertaining guests and making them feel at home! I have lived in Jacksonville since 1983, migrating from Connecticut to escape the snow and ice. I enjoy living in the San Marco area because it is surrounded by water ( the St. John's River) and close to the interstate and downtown. I have many interests and hobbies that keep me busy and I love to cook, so that may definately be in your favor !
I would love to help you enjoy your stay in Jacksonville, whether it be business or pleasure. Some of the best friends I have made have been former guests from my innkeeping days at The San Marco Point House, Sabal Palm Inn and The Old City House.... so come on .let's make you one !
