Susan was very welcoming and made us feel very at home. We really liked the unique space. Our room was immaculate, and filled with character, with lots of lovely antique furniture and vintage objects around. Susan gave us ideas for dinner in town, and she made us a delicious breakfast. The B & B is nice and remote while still being close enough to get to town in 10 mins. We wished we could have stayed longer.
I highly recommend staying at the Quail Inn. The house was very clean and spacious, with plenty of room for my group of three in the loft area and bedroom. Susan was flexible about the check in time and understanding when we were running late. My friends and I went to wineries near Sebastopol and to Point Reyes for hiking. This location was a good base for both.
Susan was an excellent hostess. She met us at the door and made us feel like her home was our home. We felt like one of the family. She had a fridge with drinks for us when we arrived and many recommendations for great restaurants. The screened in porch overlooking the pool and garden was lovely and we loved having our morning coffee out there. The property was amazing with surrounding pastures, beautiful landscaping, and wild fowl strolling around. We felt very at ease and safe. We hope to return soon.
Susan was very welcoming and accomodating with our schedule. I called her and left a message we would come 3 hours late and we had no problems at all. The house is beautifully built sitting on the top of a hill in the country side. There is a cattle farm right next to it and you can see the animals in the morning. The room was impeccable and so was the rest of the house. Susan is a great host, waking us up in the morning with the delicious smell of bacon. Breakfast was wonderful with a fresh fruit salad, orange juice, coffee cake and scrambled eggs. Susan's home is definately a place to stay if you are in that area.
We has a great time at Susan's B&B. It was perfect for our girls weekend get together. Her outdoor landscaping around the pool is beautiful and she was a great host. Susan was also very timely with responses which was much appreciated. Don't forget to ask her about the peacocks!
