This fifth generation homestead is being offered to our guest. The farmhouse will accommodates 6-8 guest. Price includes SD state and lodging tax. It includes an 1880 weigh station log cabin as the living room. The Sip family has worked hard to keep the historical charm of this homestead while providing modern amenities for your convenience and comfort. Come join us for a very unique experience.

The space
The Sip family homesteaded this property in 1896. Learn more about the history of the plains of South Dakota and what life was like for those early homesteaders. Special programs and activities are also available at Sip Homestead Farms. Onsite Brewery/Brew Pub.

Guest access
Guest have access to the full house and the surrounding area. includes an area for dogs to roam and a nice wrap around porch as well as a fire pit.

Other things to note
Pets are allowed under agreement with the host prior and at a fee. Inquire with the host.
We are recognized as a great location to stay and have high reviews on our Facebook page and Harvest Host page. We have RV hookups available and provide those services to our Harvest Host guest as well as to others including our AirBnB guests. We have over 300 acres of land and welcome travelers and hunters. We are a nice location to stay for weddings and other family events. We are frequently used for a relaxing, private stay for our guest who are in the area due to the passing of a loved one.
