A 1880’s farmhouse with all the modern amenities yet keeping the charm. It is between Lake Placid (5 miles) and Saranac Lake (4.5 miles) in North Elba’s tiny hamlet of Ray Brook. It has a fenced in yard with room to play and a back deck to watch it all happen. We allow 2 small or 1 medium ( 20 to 40 lbs; 15 to 20 inches tall) well behaved fully vaccinated dog.s. We welcome adult guests over the age of 25. Children welcome.

The space
A quaint two bedroom farmhouse built in the 1880’s that my husband and I partially renovated. It is warm, cozy, bright and clean. A perfect spot to relax after a day full of activities. You can cook your own meals or head out to the brewery, or bring a beverage and enjoy it by the fire pit; whatever your fancy!

Entire property except the garage and the basement in the house. The basement in the garage is available for bike/kayak storage.
Other things to note
As we do not charge a cleaning fee and to keep our prices low bed sheets (queen and twin) and bath towels are not provided with this rental, but may provided them for an added fee of 15$/person/stay.
We are animal friendly however if you are considering being your pet.s/ we allow 2 small or 1 medium We allow 2 small or 1 medium ( 20 to 40 lbs; 15 to 20 inches tall) well behaved, fully vaccinated, house trained dog.s. If your pet falls within these guidelines please book otherwise please contact for approval. Please be advised that there is a fee of 25$ per pet per stay. Uninvited and unknown pets/animals arriving will be assessed a 150$ fee/pet/animal.
We do not support charging of EVs at this location.
There will be an added fee assessed for a 4th guest.
You may/may not experience noise from snow mobiles during the winter months. There is a rail to trail that runs behind the house.

My husband and I work in the village as professionals. We love the outdoors and all of the outdoor activities that are available in the Adirondacks.
We love the concept of tiny living and have built and renovated a few tiny dwellings. When we are not busy with tiny projects we love to travel, meet new people and help people discover the ADKs; a place that we have made our home.
