It has been completely restored with all modern conveniences but it has retained the wonderful rustic feeling and simple elegance of the old Tuscan farm houses.
Large living/dining room with large fireplace, small kitchenette in the corner fully equipped with dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster and coffee maker.
The dining area opens on the large shaded patio, covered with jasmine and surrounded by lavender and hydrangeas, furnished for great al fresco dining with splendid views of the landscape and the Tuscan sunsets.

Hand made mattresses and beautiful linens add to the special, casual, but very refined charm of the apartment.
“Gelsomino” has 3 double bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms (one with a jacuzi tub the other with large shower), large livingroom with the original fireplace, open kitchen area and direct access to a covered patio overlooking the hills.

Patrizia is an amazingly warm-hearted and considerate hostess， she's made our stay so comfortable and relaxing. We enjoyed staying in her country house with all her wonderful collections of furnitures, books, music and artworks. We loved the tranquil atmosphere and the garden so much that we wish we could stay for much longer. Grazie Patrizia, we'll definitely come back to visit your lovely place again !!
I actually cried when we had to leave this enchanting villa. Patrizia was the perfect host, buying delicious groceries for us, communicating directions, showing us around, welcoming us with tasteful Christmas decorations, a glowing open fire and plenty of comfortable beds. This is idyllic.
We have just had 5 magical days staying at The villa. Patrizia's directions were great especially as it was our first experience of driving in Italy. The villa is not far from Florence and Patrizia gave us some wonderful places to visit complete with maps and information and the right restaurants to find. The home is beautifully decorated and very comfortable we very much appreciated the quality of the interior and loved sitting on the patio drinking wine and relaxing as the sun set over the Tuscan farm land. We would definitely recommend these beautiful home for your stay. Patrizia's welcoming nature made it a very relaxed stay - would like to stay longer as it is so accessible to so many parts of Tuscany .
Our stay at Le Scalette was fantastic. Patrizia is a lovely host, who went out of her way to make us feel welcome. She had wine, bread and fruit ready on our arrival, and directed us to local restaurants, where we had one of the best meals of our trip. The house was spotless, and decorated beautifully. It is a ways off the road, and in the middle of farm land, yet only minutes away from the town and access to the highway, about a 15 minute drive to Florence. The only downside was that we were not allowed to stay permanently.
I am a textile designer interested in decorating and gardening and cooking.
I like to share the beauty and incredible and rich cultural history and art of italy and Tuscany with my guests.
