The space

It has been completely restored with all modern conveniences but it has retained the wonderful rustic feeling and simple elegance of the old Tuscan farm houses.
Large living/dining room with large fireplace, small kitchenette in the corner fully equipped with dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster and coffee maker.
The dining area opens on the large shaded patio, covered with jasmine and surrounded by lavender and hydrangeas, furnished for great al fresco dining with splendid views of the landscape and the Tuscan sunsets.
Upstairs are three lovely bedrooms with beamed ceilings and 2 full baths.
Hand made mattresses and beautiful linens add to the special, casual, but very refined charm of the apartment.

3 adult Colorado couples just returned from an 8 night stay at the lovely villa. The pictures are very accurate to the charm of this comfortable home. The host of this property is nothing short of amazing. We had flight problems and ending up arriving around 2:30 AM and bless her heart she was so helpful and concerned about our situation and greeted us on arrival. Unable to pick up our rental car she arranged for a local much cheaper driver to take us back to the airport the next day. The patio is huge with a wonderful dining, gathering space and then there is sunning and sunset watching space as well. 6 adults never felt crowded and the bedrooms and bathrooms were delightful! We loved being outside of Florence. It is a short trip into the city and to the airport on good roads. We had a car and day tripped all over Tuscany. We loved coming home each evening to our quiet cozy space. The little village is great and so many nearby towns to explore. We loved Vinci and the wine in Greve area is not to be missed. Could go on and on...just book the place, you will be happy!

I have traveled all over the world and this is one of the best spots I've visited. Patrizia is amazing, her taste is impeccable and the house is clean and comfortable. We stayed with our two mothers and our 4 year-old and everyone was comfortable and happy with the three perfect bedrooms! The kitchen is small but perfect for people visiting and traveling. We cooked bfast and dinners and ate out on the AMAZING terrace. This location is perfect. in one week we saw: Siena, Pisa, Florence, Tuscan wineries and hills, Arezzo, Assisi and Perugia (we stayed one night there). Partizia was so respsonsive to our every request, including having some groceries there when we arrived and making us daily dinner reservations at incredible local restaurants. I give the house and Patrizia the HIGHEST rating.

This lovely villa is a great property that offers the opportunity to relax in the beautiful countryside. The ample space is a luxury, and so pleasant to return to after a busy day. Patrizia has provided anything you could possibly want. She is very helpful with information and making plans. We were four woman coming in separately, and she went out of her way to pick us up when our travel plans did not go as planned, and direct us when we were lost. Finding the property is a challenge, and you will definitely need a car. It is a few miles from the light rail where you can leave your car at no cost, and shuttle into the city. The opportunity to stay in a centuries old villa is a unique experience. You are only a couple of miles from a small town. Be sure to visit with the local gents who sit outside of the market every evening where you should buy wine for only a few euros, every bit as good as the higher priced bottles in the city. Eat at the local restaurants for great food, or order take-out to enjoy back at the villa; great pizza by the way. If you want a different experience than walking out a hotel door in the city, this is the place for you!

I cannot say enough good things about this air bnb. If I could, I would give it 10 stars. First off, Patrizia will make this air bnb worth while. She is an amazing host with her own style. She was available to help with questions, restaurant suggestions, making reservations and was so helpful and welcoming. The home itself is quaint and adorable. It's comforting and cozy. It is set in a picturesque Tuscan countryside. The linens are made by Patrizia herself. There was plenty of space for two couples. The shower is amazing. The kitchen is small, but functional. There is plenty of seating area. We were looking for a quite Tuscan countryside experience and this place delivered. If you're worried it's too remote, don't be, there are some really fantastic restaurants close by. It's about an hour drive to several small towns and so this is a perfect base it you want to "see" Tuscany. Again, I cannot recommend this place enough. Don't hesitate to book, you will love this air bnb!!

Ah, this place is the best. The pictures do not do it justice. Usually, a place looks much better on Airbnb than in person, but not the case here; the real thing was much better. Everything exceeded by expectations, from the views from the wonderful terrace to the wonderful linens designed by the host (Patrizia) herself. Patrizia is a lovely lady and the most accommodating host ever. She was there when we needed her, was so very helpful with restaurant reservations and information about the area, but, after giving us a tour of the home, left us to enjoy ourselves in what has got to be one of the most peaceful and beautiful places on earth. My wife and I stayed with our two boys (12 and 14, both of whom are well traveled); the boys keep saying this was one of the best places we have ever stayed as a family (and my wife and I totally agree). This is a great base for exploring both Florence and the larger area of Tuscany. Bravo, Patrizia!!

Patrizia's farmhouse is absolutely perfect. The pastoral setting is idyllic and yet so close to Florence. The interior of the farmhouse is perfection including Patrizia's own beautiful textile designs. It was a stay we will never forget. Patrizia was a lovely and kind host.

We had a wonderful stay! Very peaceful, enchanting villa. We were able to explore Tuscany's villages, towns and vineyards. Patrizia had several suggestions for restaurants and things to do and see. She always wrote back within a few minutes to answer any questions. Will stay again one day❤
