Other Things To Note:

Guests:
We do have our home and other guests that book our cabin on the property. Everyone has their privacy/space, private hot tub, charcoal grill, and fire pit. (We've never had complaints from previous guests.) If you choose to share, you can choose to use the outdoor kitchen with a gas grill, pavilion, and larger fire-pit. We left some disinfectant cleaning spray and paper towels at the outdoor kitchen to clean up after use. If you need us to help coordinate with the cabin guests, please let us know.

Animals:
We also have chickens and cats that roam the property. They love to stop by and say “Hi” to our guests, but if they bother you in any way, please let us know.

Environment:
This is a rural property and we are surrounded by nature. We do get our property and glamping tent sprayed monthly, but it is possible for a critter or two to find their way in the tent. We encourage you to keep the tent zipped up, inside lights out, and the bathroom door closed when not in use.

Heating/Cooling:
Our Glamping Tent has a portable AC and box fan under the bed to use during the hotter months. During the summer, we recommend guests checking in closer to sundown and plan fun water activities. Boerne Lake and Canyon Lake are great options. If you would like somewhere closer, the Guadelupe River access is 5 minutes from our location. While we do have a portable AC and fan, the tent is made of canvas. It has a hard time keeping up with the heat during the day unlike a traditional insulated home. It does functions best when it cools off in the evening. You are more than welcome to bring extra cooling devices if needed. Most guests plan activities during the daytime and sleep comfortably and cool at night.
In the winter months, we provide space heaters and a heating blankets, but feel free to bring extra things to keep you warm if needed.

Children:
While we do welcome families, however we have not done any baby-proofing or anything to make this Glamping Tent specifically Family-Friendly. We do have stairs, plants that might poke, or grassy areas with burrs or ants. (Just like any camping experience.) With that said, we leave it to the parents to decide on whether their children are equipped for this type of adventure. Please respect other guests that are looking to relax at the cabin.

Guest access
Guests have access to the outdoor kitchen, pavilion and large fire pit. Both are communal and can be used by other guests on the property. There is also a washer and dryer available upon request.

Other things to note
During this time (Covid-19), we are no longer allowing the use of the outhouse by the tent to prevent the spread of germs. The bath house is still available to our Glamping guests. Thanks for understanding.

We ask that you bring your own wood to burn in fire pit.

My husband, Chad and I have been married for 12 years. We have 4 daughters, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 6 hens, and a lizard. We definitely have our hands full, but our hearts are overflowing. We love adventure and have dreams to travel the world with our children. We have lived in Dallas, TX, Ohio, The Woodlands, TX and dreamed of living in the hill country to raise our girls since the moment we were married. If you listen closely, you can hear a Southeast Texas. I was born and raised to be a proud Texas girl. My husband is originally from Dallas and loves college football and baseball. He loves the outdoors in all seasons and you can find him riding his lawnmower for fun. I have a passion for singing, art, graphic design, and spending my time with loved ones. Chad and I both to travel and have big plans to travel the world. Almost every summer, we go to our family cabin in Pleasant Pond, Maine to pick wild blueberries in the front yard. Our big dream is to travel the world by sailboat as a family. We love our home and property. We see it as a gift from God and like to share it with friends and new friends. It is truly an escape from the cares of the world and offers peace and relaxation. We have never meet a stranger. We love meeting new people so our motto is, "come as guests but leave as friends"! But with that said, we give our guests privacy as we enjoy our privacy when we travel too. We look forward to meeting you soon!
