About This Listing
My home is exceptionally large by NYC standards. Built in 1900, there are many interesting architectural details. You will find it quiet, centrally located, and filled with fresh air and sunlight.
Welcome to Casa Jeffrey!
I am happy to welcome into my home new friends from around the world! I live here full time and I rent out my three extra bedrooms. If you are looking for a true New Yorker experience, look no further! If you prefer something wholly private you should find another listing as I never rent out my entire apartment. It is possible I will have visitors in my other bedrooms so you may meet some interesting friends while you're here. I realize the kind of experience I offer isn't for everyone, so please give it some thought before booking.
I have three Guest Bedrooms and two Full Bathrooms here. I use one of the Bathrooms(Resident Bathroom) and the other is shared by our guests(Guest Bathroom). They are labeled in the photos as such. It is very likely you will be sharing the Guest Bathroom with other guests. Fear Not! I clean the bathrooms daily to ensure maximum comfort and cleanliness and each Guest Bedroom has ample wall hooks for storing your bath towels. That said, if one is occupied when you need it, you are more than welcome to use the other. Either way they are both recently renovated, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. Fresh towels are always on hand. I also provide some basic toiletries should you need them. There is always soap, q-tips, contact lens solution, band aids, aspirin and more on hand and available for your use should you need them.
I offer very flexible Check-In/ Check-Out times! Please let me know what time you plan to arrive/ depart so I may coordinate with our other guests. You may be asked to vacate your room by a certain time in order for me to have it cleaned in time for our next guests' arrival. You are always welcome to store your luggage in our living room until you are ready to depart.

It is perfectly reasonable to be somewhat wary of this, but I trust in the good nature of all of our guests. Remember you are renting a room in my home. I have far more to lose here than you are bringing with you. This is not a hotel with hundreds of transients. Your privacy is respected 100%, 100% of the time! Should you feel less than comfortable with this situation it would likely be best for you to stay elsewhere.
Unless I am sleeping, I respond almost immediately to any inquiry. Please give me a clear picture of your intentions for staying here and whatever your specific needs may be. No one likes surprises at check-in! If you do not already have the AirBNB smartphone app, I highly recommend downloading it!

Jeffrey's house was very nice and in a perfect position (7 minutues walking to Central Park/5th Avenue). The area is safe, also walking by night.
Jeffrey was very kind and always available (once we contact him for a problem at midnight and he immediatly aswered us).
We suggest this location to all people that really want the experience to live with someone in an appartment in New York. The house has a working wi-fi and clean restrooms. The room were we were is perfect for a couple, maybe a few little for 2 firends.
Only 1 suggestion: don't take with you many/big luggages, as you have to climb 5 floors stairs!
Thanks again to Jeffrey for this experience!
Jeffrey is very kind hospitable person .. he offer great suggestions for places to go for pleasure or shopping .. his penthouse is very quite and clean in addition to the location right near to most of touristic attractions . I would definitely love to stay with him again whenever I have visit to NY
What can I say about Cassa Jeffrey? Or maybe we should call it Palazzo Jeffery? Where do I begin? Well not a lot I can say that has not already been said in these reviews. Jeffrey is a nice chap and genuinely wants to help out as much as he can. Bit of entrepreneur with fingers in different pies. He has done up a wreck of a flat and turned it into a stylish home. Lovely kitchen and living room, nice bathrooms. He has a good eye for design. My bedroom was fine, small but fine, got a bit hot and airless as the summer started to kick in ( ask Jeffrey to install air-con unit if not already there ). The bed itself was very comfy. I picked this flat as it was close to my conference venue and it worked well. This flat is not for you if you do not like being a bit social or you do not want to climb stairs. The stairs were not as bad as feared. The warm welcome when you got back made up for it. Also living in the flat is Ronnie, who is also kind and helpful, he's nocturnal, loves day time TV and is like a character from the movie Zoolander. ;-) The location is good for down town as you can walk most places. Good bars and restaurants on 9th and spitting distance from Lincoln centre. I wish Jeffrey well with his businesses and I hope to see Ronnie on the cover of GQ one day. Thanks guys.
Si volvemos a NY, seguramente volveríamos a quedarnos aquí.
Jeffrey's apartment is really beautiful and comfortable, just a little smaller than you can picture in the photos, but definitely big for New York standards. Very good location, it is close to a subway station and there are restaurants/pharmacies/deli/shops nearby.
The only downside would be the stairs, but you only have to climb them once a day. It's nyc and you're visiting, right?
Jeffrey is a wonderful host. Very friendly, and he makes you feel at home.
I recommend you stay at his place.
I was at Jeffrey's Apt for 22 days and really is what it's advertised. The apartment is spacious, very comfortable and is in impeccable condition of cleanliness and order. The location is very good, very safe a few steps to the subway and close to many attractions. Jeffrey and his roommates were always very friendly and willing to help where needed. It is highly recommended to stay with Jeffrey, not only for the department but by the genuine warmth of its people.
