Guests accommodations at La Palapa are all made of simple materials promoting the economy of sustainability. Guest's bungalows are comfortable with outdoor tropical garden, ceiling fans, great cross ventilation for natural breezes, natural linens, screened windows, bamboo furniture, mosquito nets but with the sounds of nature all day long more. Been in the wild and getting back to basic La Palapa does not offer telephone service or internet in guest rooms.
La Palapa can be also great choice for the adventure travelers who enjoy a challenge in physical fitness. There are self-guided walking trails available for guests in addition to encounters with all local wildlife from a very well preserved rainforest.
Good food and very simple food is also available at La Palapa including fresh seasonal and organic foods harvested from local population onsite gardens. Guests with special dietary needs can be accommodated by notifying the property prior to arrival.
Travelers to La Palapa Resort also have access to a variety of activities including Surf lessons, Tours to a rainforest, Whale and Dolphin tours, Jungle Zip line tours, Bird watching, Horse riding Tour and much more.
If one wants to come to Costa Rica and to La Palapa you can reach the resort by a 20 minutes flight directly to Quepos Airport from San Jose Airport - Costa Rica, and have the resort pick up from the Airport. You can also take ground transport to the lodge. Quepos Airport is approximately 10 minutes away by car from La Palapa. Flights to San Jose are available every day, and complementary transfers are available from and to the resort, with a small extra charge.
