It is very well located... you have everything on your doorstep, cafes, restaurants, shops and a supermarket. It’s also within walking distance from some of the world’s finest theatres and museums.
It is next to the famous pub 'Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese'. As well as all the journalists, in times past the pub has played host to its fair share of literary celebrities, including Charles Dickens, Oliver Goldsmith and Samuel Johnson (whose house, in nearby Gough Square, is open to visitors).
It is right next to the magnificent Daily Telegraph building, the Daily Express and Reuters.

The apartment was exactly as described -- comfortable, lots of great amenities, and fantastic location. Matthew was very responsive and accommodating. The fresh flowers, snacks, and mid-stay cleaning were such a good touch!
Very nice and extremely convenient place of living in central . The service was really good , is a perfect place for a family or friends to share . It is a perfect place of staying in an English historical building , super nice rooms and super convenient to every where in central London . All the shops like coffee shops , pubs , super markets, bank, bespoke suit shops , visit places and theatres (St. Paul, West End ) , just around . The rooms are beautifully arranged , the kitchen was well prepared to use , including the fridge. It is also a clean and tidy place to live in .
Great place to stay. We arrived late, but Matthew was there to welcome us and show the place. Nice fresh fruit, cup cakes, chocolate cake, milk and juice in the fridgde ans all other stuff which we could take for breakfast or snack. Fresh roses in bedroom and living. All just as advertised. Highly recomendable...kids loved the place!
Matthew's place was simply superb! Spotlessly clean, with every detail addressed and all amenities lovingly offered: fresh fruit in every room! The living room was bright & airy during the day and the bedrooms quite & dark for a sound sleep. And the location... so very central, so very easy.
Would highly recommend!
This apartment is pretty much perfect. Firstly, Matthew (the host) was there to meet us in order to make arrival as smooth as possible (and we didn't get there until about 10pm after our flight from Hong Kong!) He had fresh flowers and cakes, bread, milk, juice, everything. The apartment was spotless and in a perfect location, close to everything. I really cannot recommend this apartment enough, and Matthew is a fantastic host.
