The space
We have renovated and furnished the Koto-two-room apartment (38 m2) with love. Spacious living room and kitchen are connected to each other. For dining we have built a bar table. Living room also has access to the balcony. In the glazed balcony there is a group of furniture.

Everything is ready for you. In the apartment you will find freshly ironed sheets and clean towels.

The neighborhood and the inhabitants of the house are quiet. The apartment is in an ordinary apartment building and its stairwell apartments are inhabited by people of very different ages. Since the destination is along the main street of one small town, there is some traffic noise from the street. So downtown life.

Welcome to Mikkeli, Finland! We are a family of two, Tuulevi & Henrik.

Our son and daughter have already moved out but stay here sometimes. We have pets: dog & cat: actually often we have two dogs as our daughter comes home with her small dog (mittelspitz).

We live in countryside in southern Savo, Ristiina. You´ll need car or sometimes we can pick from bus/train, just ask. Our place is about 30 minutes drive from Mikkeli. We also rent a studio in the centre of Mikkeli.

Here you can row a boat and swim in a small lake - in summertime, of course. Maybe you want just to sit near to the water and enjoy silence & peace. Here you find it. Because we live in the main house, we will use the common kitchen, toilet, shower & washing machine. Sometimes it is also lovely to drink tea together and talk about - anything. If you just want to enjoy silence or sit together with your fellow traveller around the campfire beside the lake, it´s fine also.

I work as a project manager in South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences: human resource developing & work counseling. I am also a professional coach & trainer at Onnenoma (my own business).

We both love traveling: Canada, Greece, Italy, Denmark, Holland, Cyprus, Paris, Estonia, Finland all around. We still have many, many places to travel!
