Enjoy the guest room in our craftsman bungalow (built in 1920) located in Midtown Memphis. Accommodations include bedroom (with full-size bed), private bath (tub/shower), and kitchen access. Morning coffee from a French press and hot tea provided. Amenities include wireless internet, Uverse TV, and free street parking in the coolest neighborhood in town!

You'll be staying in the Cooper-Young neighborhood which the American Planners Association named one of the Ten Great Neighborhoods of 2012. Forbes Magazine named Memphis a Great Urban Weekend Escape in 2012 and National Geographic listed Memphis as 1 of 20 "Best Trips" for 2013. Guests are within walking distance to some of the best local restaurants and bars in Memphis (check our Guidebook). By car, we are 10 minutes from Downtown attractions like Beale Street, Sun Studio, the National Civil Rights Museum, and the Stax Museum; 15 minutes from Graceland, and 10 minutes to the Airport. MATA bus routes are also less than one block away. Many of our guests have used the free shuttle from Sun Studio to Graceland Mansion.

We love to travel and entertain. Our small chihuahua, Chili, loves meeting new people.

  • Stay here! Great place only 2 minutes from great food joints and a 10 minute drive from the riverfront, downtown, and Beale street (where a lot of Memphis action occurs). The house was gorgeously designed in original arts and crafts style, the hosts were friendly and available, and the room was comfortable and very clean.

  • We only had one nigth in Memphis but it was lovely to meet the two of them! Gave us good recommendations on where to go and where not go... It was one of the nicest rooms and bathrooms I have stayed in! Loved the cute little dog as well. :)

  • My girlfriend and I stayed with Paul and Jonathan for three nights in their beautiful home. They were full of great tips about the city (absolutely trust their food recommendations!!!) and made us feel very comfortable. The neighbourhood itself is very safe and quiet, with a bunch of cool places to grab food and drinks. Whenever we go back to Memphis we're definitely hoping to book a stay there again.

  • My sister and I had a lovely one-night stay at Paul and Jonathan's. Their home is beautiful and nicely situated in the adorable Cooper-Young neighborhood in midtown Memphis. Paul was super helpful in giving us lots of information about the neighborhood. After a long day of driving, we were happy to walk to some great bars and restaurants nearby. Other favorites included Chili the chihuahua (the cutest) and the beautiful private bathroom and shower. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking to stay in Memphis.

  • Our hosts were friendly and inviting. Jonathan was at the house to meet us when we arrived and gave us some great recommendations for restaurants and bars in the area. The neighborhood is lovely, and we were in walking distance (less than 10 minutes) to everywhere we wanted to go that evening. The room Paul and Jonathan provided was very clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was also very clean and beautifully decorated. They also said that we were welcome to use the kitchen, and it was nice to have access to a refrigerator. Also, they keep their house very cool in the summertime.

Gay couple, lifelong Memphians, frequent travelers. We love to show off Memphis to folks from around the world. We live in a fun Arts and Crafts brick bungalow in the super-cool Cooper-Young neighborhood in Midtown Memphis (named one of the 10 Great Neighborhoods in the U.S. by the American Planning Association). We are food and wine enthusiasts, and can help anyone looking for a great meal during their stay.
