Bondi Junction is 6 kilometres east of the Sydney central business district and one of Sudney’s most vibrant eastern suburbs.

Bondi Junction boasts the Westfield Shopping Centre and the Bondi Junction train station (a 2 minute walk from this apartment) connects to Central Station (10 min), Darling Harbor, The Rocks, the Opera House and the ferry to Manly, Taronga Zoo and the Northern Beaches.

The airport is 25 minutes away. Bus transportation runs 24 hours a day from Bondi Junction.

There are two Golf Courses within 10 minutes walk with the spectacular Sydney Harbour and its secluded harbour beaches close by.

There are spectacular cliff top walks available from the beach north to the historic harbour fishing village of Watsons Bay and south to the equally magnificent beaches of Tamarama, Bronte and Coogee. Bondi gives you the accessibility of Sydney with the world famous beach minutes away.

  • Mixed feelings about this rental. The apartment was great, exactly as described, clean and appealing. However, the host (Nicki) is not the usual indvidual person you meet when renting at airbnb but a front for a corporation(Espresso Apartments) which owns many such units. When I emailed to inform of our arrival time I got a generic email about early check-in (which I did not request or needed).
    I never received instructions on how to get the keys (left in the letterbox in a coded box), I had to call to get instructions.
    The only real person I saw on site was the local houskeeper who was helpful. But nothing like a real host whom you can ask questions about the area.
    After you book you get a somewhat harshly worded notice that parties are stricty not allowed in this unit, so you really can't use the nice balcony for anything else than by yourself or whispering to anybody else.
    The locked underground garage was great. However, there is a charge of AUD 8 per day to use the WiFi and the check-out time is 10am, a bit early.
    Would I come back? Maybe..... but I would try to look for alternatives first.

  • Overall, a great experience and I would recommend renting from Espresso Apartments again.

    At first there was a bit of an issue because the apartment I rented, the one in the photos, the one whose address I was sent (Riley Stree) was not the apartment I was provided by the company. I showed up at the Riley Street apartment on the day of my arrival and another renter answered the door and told us that they had just moved in that morning. So I checked the email correspondence (4-5 emails) and it turns out that one of the emails that I had received had a different address. So we went to that new address, got those keys and moved in. The apartment was similarly furnished, very clean, great amenities and had a good location so we were happy with the result.

    To be fair, I never contacted Espresso Apartments to complain or raise an issue because I'm the type of guy who wouldn't return a steak if I ordered it rare and it came out of the kitchen well done. At that point it wouldn't have mattered anyway because there were already renters in the Riley Street Apartment and we were already moved into the Liverpool Street apartment. I'm sure if I informed Espresso Apartments of the mixup at the time they would have taken the necessary steps.

    Mixup aside, the apartment was great and we throughly enjoyed our stay there. It was also a great deal monetarily so there's another feather in the cap. I would just recommend locking down the correct apartment and making sure the one in the photographs is the one you will be staying in.

  • This apartment was wonderful. It not only had everything I needed for my week long stay in Melbourne but was perfect from a location standpoint as it was central to my office and close by to a host of great restaurants, bars and the beach where I caught some wonderful sunsets and early morning runs. There's also a fantastic cafe and eat out Indian place just below. One word is centrally located so it is not extremely quiet as it's right on busy the Barkley/Irwell corner with the tram, traffic and people. Pay special attention also to whether you've got parking with your unit if you need it. I found the best off unit parking to be the flat lot beside Coles but don't forget to refresh every 12 hours to avoid the fines.

  • Lovely apartment in the vibrant Darlinghurst area of Sydney. Central location, close to transport hubs like Kings Cross, and you can catch a bus straight to Bondi Beach up the road on Oxford Street. A short walk to the main business/shopping district and also close to the various clubs and pubs of Crown Street.

    Nicely kitted out with coffee machine, pots and pans, comfy sofas for early morning chilling, wi-fi - all you need, really.

    Nicki was a very helpful and amenable host, who was always a phone call away.

    All in all, a terrific place to stay in Sydney.

  • Within walking distance to the best beach bars and all the eateries in St Kilda! Loved the accessibility and ease of connection to city when not driving, tram stop is just 3mins away, and you are in city centre within 20mins.

  • Excellent location. Clean and tidy. As apartment is facing west, hot anoon sun makes apartment very hot. No flyscreens means Air Con must be on all night. A darker blind in lounge would be good. If balcony was shaded would make whole apartment cooler, especially 2nd Bedroom... A few small things would add an extra star to this accommodation.

  • Very clean, organised and well resourced apartment. We walked to Southbank everyday along the river from the apartment! Very impressed, would def stay there again :)

  • Run more corporately than most places I've stayed through airbnb, not a problem, but did make it more of a serviced apartment.

    Place was clean and in a great location if you're wanting to stay around St Kilda.
