This cozy charmer is only one mile to Townsend and 3 miles to the Great Smoky Mountains Park entrance. Finished in reclaimed barn wood, it features real hardwood floors, a large deck, and plenty of windows to get up close views of birds, meadows and distant mountains. A paved concrete path leads from the designated parking space. No stairs to climb and handicap accessible.

The comfortable king-sized bed is supplied with luxurious Red Land American Cotton sheets. There are thick Turkish towels in the spacious bathroom with walk-in shower.
The kitchenette has a full size stove, oven and microwave.

Other things to note
While many of our local businesses close down for the winter season, there is still much to recommend this lovely location. Uncrowded hiking, scenic drives, wine and moonshine tastings are close at hand. After a cool weather day outdoors, relax by a cozy, romantic Norwegian wood burning stove.

Neighborhood highlights

One mile drive to Townsend's many restaurants and activities. No steep hills or gravel roads. During the warmer months, the nearby Little River has tubing, fly fishing and swimming. The winter brings its own beauty with quiet walks, beautiful drives and uncrowded visits to Cades Cove and the Great Smoky Mountains. Weekends often offer many live music venues for your enjoyment. There is also an 18 hole golf course, riding stables, Tuckaleechee Caverns, Smoky Mountains Visitor Center, Railroad and Heritage Museum within minutes of this cabin.
We are 30 minutes from McGhee Tyson Airport in Knoxville.
45 to 50 minutes from Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg.
