  • Sharon was great! The cottage is so cute, it's beyond cozy. The neighborhood was nice and the whole thing was just so easy. Will absolutely stay here again, and boston is kind of a driving city, only took us 10 mins into the downtown area.

  • "The Barn" is a lovely place to wake up! Not much more needs be said. Sharon was a pleasure to deal with, a gracious host.

Oh, worth a mention. The Barn isn't too far from the highway. I was worried about noise. No problem, I couldn't even hear it standing outside.

  • Our experience with Sharons place was good. Very clean , and nice privacy. neighborhood was very nice, especially Buffs Pub for beers and wings. My recommendation for Sharon is to have WiFi available to her guests and to be a little more the hostess to her arriving guests especially after all long drive. Have ice available for guests. Be the best host one can be when running a bnb. A host cant do enough for there guest. Other then that a good experience.

  • Sharona's place is a lovely accommodation in the Boston area. Spacious and light – filled, it allows a couple enough room for relaxing, lounging, and preparing food, in addition to a comfortable sleep. You must be able to manage a good-sized stairway. The neighborhood is safe and accessible. We didn't actually meet Sharona, but she provided everything we needed.

  • We stayed with Sharon in early December and it was the perfect distance outside of Boston - very convenient (as described) to the MassPike, and a quick commute into either Boston or Cambridge.

The house was slightly hard to find (being winter - it got dark quickly) so discerning which driveway to pull into took a few drive-by's the first time around - but otherwise - an amazing stay. Plenty of room. Perfect amount of natural light. Would stay again in a heartbeat the next time up! Thanks again Sharon!

  • I stayed at Sharon's barn for 2 nights, November 1-3 2013. It was weekend, the place was perfect and just like the pictures.
The location was perfect, near to the highway to get in 10 minutes to Boston downtown by car. We used the kitchen to cook our breakfast, the heating in the nights was good. Everything was perfect and clean.
There is a Starbucks just 1 min walk, and a few restaurants if you don't want to cook.
We highly recommed this place, we met Sharon and was a great host. If i return to Boston in the future, will book this place again! Thank you Sharon!

  • This is such a wonderful space, we just love it here. As repeat guests we highly recommend it to others - just don't book it when we want to stay again :). Sharon is very efficient to deal with, quick to respond and respects your privacy while you are there.

  • Stayed at Sharons place for 3 nights mid October and really enjoyed our stay there. The converted barn is as the pictures show in her profile. Upstairs is lovely with loads of space and light. The city center is easy to get to from the barn and there are some lovely places to eat locally. Really enjoyed our stay there

  • We had a thoroughly enjoyable weekend in Newton. Sharona's place was lovely, spacious and comfortable, and well situated for visiting with nearby family. Went for a morning run and discovered a nice footpath along a brook not far away. Sharona's suggestions for local eateries were helpful as well. Looking forward to a return visit soon.
