Sharon was helpful, present (if we needed/wanted) and very thoughtful of our needs and privacy. The apartment is a cozy, quiet, and unique retreat with quick access to both the highway and the very clean bus/transit system. We used both and were delighted at how easy it is to get around. We had a wonderful visit and very much enjoyed staying in Sharon's space. If in Boston again, we would love the opportunity to stay here!
We visited Boston, Salem, and Newport during our weekend getaway. The barn was in a perfect location for us to visit all three cities. It was very clean, had a homey feel, and was charming to say the least. Sharon was a good host and left us information about places to eat walking distance from the barn. Would definitely stay there again next time we visit the Boston area.
Sharon was very accommodating and helpful. The barn is a perfect spot for anybody visiting Boston (20 min drive) in a really great neighborhood. Highly recommended.
My wife and I stayed for three nights and found everything as advertised. The space is unique and the location is convenient for downtown activities. It was a very warm weekend and the air conditioner was a welcome amenity. Previous reviewers had noted that the bed was small. I'm 6'2 and have no complaints. Overall, an excellent value, and we would definitely stay here again.
We stayed here for 3 nights, and found the location great. We had a car and could access the city and other locations easily.
The food recommendations that Sharon left were also great. Loved The Diner and Buffs Pub.
The bed is small! And not great for two adults for 3 nights. I think it's a fouton.
Great washing machine and drier.
The floors needed vacuuming, we may have been more conscious of this as our son would play and eat sitting on the mat.
Sharon was a great host - The space was lovely and in a great neighbourhood which was really easy to reach the city center from.
Thanks so much, Sharon!
The home was as described, and Sharon, the host, provided very clear and friendly instructions. It provided a convenient space for us to stay while in town over the weekend. It's spacious, private, quiet, close to the pike, and there is parking and air conditioning. There is no real table or desk to sit at, however, and the bed is a smallish futon. Cleanliness was acceptable.
