The Space

Ciao! I’m Serenella and I live in a nice apartment in Monteverde, a residential and central area in Rome with my two sweet Setter dogs Lula and Roy.
You’ll find a big lightful room which sleeps 3 people (one king size bed, one single bed) with private bathroom. Wireless ADSL. Breakfast is served in the garden when the climate makes it possible, in a small sunny patio where you can relax and enjoy cappuccino and croissants, cookies, fruit, tea, yoghurt or home-made cookies. The area is lively and full of supermarkets, food stores, pubs, ice-cream bars, and I will be happy to give you advice according to your tastes and needs; not far there is a huge famous park as well, Villa Pamphili, and the area is connected to the center of Rome by non-stop buses and quick streetcars at walking distance from the house.
I travelled a lot and I love meeting new people of different cultures: it fascinates me, gives me new inputs, enriches me and I love having travellers in my home because it makes me feel on vacation as well.
I will therefore be more than happy to welcome you in my cozy apartment.
Waiting for you!
Serenella

  • Very nice place in Rome!
Sernella gave me a very warmful greating with Roy and Lula! She makes me very comfortable exactly as we wish with airbnb: We are not a customer and the hoster is not an hotel. Serenella welcome you as a friend nand it's nice!
The room is great with the access to the garden and in a very calm area at 15 min by tramway from the touristic places!
    I recommand the place +++++++++++
Thanks Sernella et bizzz to Roy&Lula!

  • Staying Serenella's house was wonderful, she was right outside of the apartment when I arrived and welcoming me!
I can say Serenella is one of the most friendly and kind host i've met.
The pictures here and her house now is totally different!
I'm appreciated I was the first gust after renovated house. I even had own bathroom in my room.
Beautiful & super friendly 2 dogs in the house, huge Beautiful garden, quiet and nice neighbor. 2 stops by tram to go Trastevere station and 2 stops away by tram to go to famous Mercato San Giovanni di Dio.
I wish I stayed little bit more longer...

  • I can honestly say before I begin writing this review that I have nothing negative to say about Serenella.

I had originally booked the wrong days and she graciously changed them for me. I also missed my flight in the morning and came in later than expected, but she still was able to promptly meet me to give me the keys and well-needed information.

The space was clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed having the courtyard right off from the room so I could put my stinky shoes out there after walking around all day.

As she mentions in her description, breakfast was always available in the morning. The coffee was great.

At first I thought I may be slightly further from the city center than I wanted to, but her place is about a 3 minute walk from a tram that takes you right into downtown at the Pizza Venezia. Also, there is a train incredibly close by that will take you to Fuimicino airport as well.

I would highly recommend you use this place as a base of operations. The only reason I would suggest finding something more downtown is if you plan on consistently staying out past the time the public transit ends. I'm not sure when that is as I was always plenty exhausted by the end of the day.

Thanks Serenella for the great place to stay during my first visit to Rome!

  • Staying with Serenella was AWESOME! Her home is beautiful, spacious, and VERY clean. Breakfast was fabulous every morning. She speaks great english and helped me with any questions I had about the city.

Serenella lives about a 2 minute walk from Tram 8 which takes you to the heart of Rome in about 30 minutes (her place is located close to Trastevere). I liked living away from all the tourists and felt more apart of Rome. Everything you would need is close to her home (supermarket, cafe, etc).

As a single woman traveling by myself, I felt very safe even at night. The next time in Rome I only want to stay with Serenella!

  • I had a great time at Serenella's- she is an excellent host, extremely nice and accommodating. The location is great, a lovely neighborhood with easy access to everything you want to see while in Rome. Felt totally at ease in her apartment, would not hesitate to stay there again!

  • Serenella is such a lovely host and communication is a breeze! She always has loads of stuff for breakfast and the espresso is just wonderful. The room itself is huge; it could accommodate easily 3 persons. It is dimly lit which creates a soothing and cozy ambience. There's a double bed and a single one although the latter is more comfortable. Last of all not forgetting the 2 friendliest dogs I ever met! Such beautiful companions; they will share the house with you whenever Serenella is out. I will definitely come back to Sere's the next time I visit Rome.

    Forza Roma!

  • i wrote to Serenella 1 day before my coming and there were no problems! amazing. Furthermore, she is really active person. kind and easy-going, you won't have any difficulties in communication or smth, she answered me everything i asked and showed me on the map all the coolest places. Coming back in the middle of the night — no problems. In addition, there are two awesome dogs which are gonna be your friends)
    Thank you for everything!

  • I really enjoyed my stay with Serenella. She was sweet, helpful, generous, and evern asked me what I wanted for breakfast so she could go out an get it! Her dogs are so sweet. I really loved the location of her apartment, as it was a 20min tram ride from Largo Argentina (pretty much the mid-point between St. Peter's and the il Colosso). It was nice to live in a Roman town/apartment and her area was not touristy at all. Also, there is a STUNNING and big park a 20 min walk from her apartment. This was amazing! One night, I even went out when Serenella and her friends to a jazz concert. It was so fun. She is very caring and maternal. The only downside was that the apartment was on the bottom floor (so there was a HUGE garden area-very nice!), but it was pretty dark even during the day. Other than that, I had a really great experience.

About
Hi, I'm Serenella...I am an artist, I love music, dancing, playing drums, animals and being involved in charity projects through my music. I sing and play percussions with my group, 'Misturado' ((website hidden)(phone number hidden)?ref=ts). I teach Pilates. I love staying with friends and travelling: my favourite travel destinations are South America, Australia, India, Africa...well, actually...all the world!!! When travelling, I love to get to know the typical instruments and musics of the place. I am sociable, I like knitting, cooking, reading books and watching movies. I have practiced Tai-Chi for 7 years and I really enjoy practising it outdoor. I feel I am a citizen of the world, and I speak English and French: that's why I love having travellers in my home.
