:::::::::: Subway ::::::::::
Métro La Chapelle / Line 2 is 200 m from the studio >
Direct line to Montmartre (2 stops) and Père-Lachaise cimetery (7 stops).
Around same place, the bus 48 can bring you directly to the Louvre Museum.
Métro Stalingrad / Line 7 is 200 m from the studio > direct to Opéra (direct transfer from/to Roissybus CDG airport), Musée du Louvre, Pont-neuf (old Paris: Notre-Dame, …) and Chatelet (center of Paris)..
With taxi from the 2 airport (CDG or Orly), it will take around 30/45mn depending of the queue, the hour and the traffic (30/40€ for 2 people…). I recommend you this way, specially if you're not in the rush hour traffic. The fact is that lot of tourists are losing themselves in the subway and take 1h30/2h to reach the studio…:-)
:::::::::: From/to Charles de Gaulle Airport ::::::::::
> with TAXI: from the 2 airport (CDG or Orly), it will take around 30/45mn depending of the queue, the hour and the traffic (35/45€ for 3 people…+2€ for the 4th passenger, and extras depending on luggages). I recommend you this way, specially if you're not in the rush hour traffic. If you are 3 or 4, it's the most interesting way, cause it will cost you almost same price with public transport.
> with SUBWAY: take the RER B (blue line > direction Robinson or St Rémy lès Chevreuse / 8,5€/personn) from the terminal airport till Gare du Nord station.
> with BUS: If you prefer coming from the airport by bus, you can take the Roissybus that brings you to Opéra station (10€), and after take the line 7 till STALINGRAD (200m from the studio).
:::::::::: From Orly Airport ::::::::::
The best solution is to take the Orlyval who brings you to the Gare du Nord
(30 minutes + 10 mn with Bus 48 (or 65) or 1/4h by feet).
IMPORTANT: If you're decided to book, please send me your arrival/departure time for my schedule (car, train or airport, and the means of transport from there to estimate the time you'll arrive). I'll need also the mobile phone number you will use in France...
Wish to see you in Paris.

Christian helped everything to run very smoothly for our entire stay, as he gave us extensive instructions on how to gain access to the studio and what to do when leaving. The studio was clean and well organised when we arrived with clear instructions on how to work the tv and the internet, and everything else. Also, there were travel books and maps as useful resources if needed. We were located about twelve minutes walk from Gare du Nord, and three minutes from La Chapelle metro station which was very convenient for travelling about. It was peaceful for much needed rest after running the marathon, with very large beds.
I would definitely recommend Christian's apartment to other people as we had a fantastic and comfortable stay. Furthermore, it was great value for money compared to a hotel and even the most hostels.
Hi, I stayed at Christian's last week with my friend. Although his apartment is small & isn't located in the best arrondisement, I felt safe within the apartment. It was quaint and clean. Christian provided us with tourism guides to Paris which we found to be extremely useful. He also provided us with detailed instructions regarding internet use, check-in/check-out procedures, and how to contact him. During the week, Christian contacted me to see if I needed anything. He was an extremely gracious house & one that I would recommend.
Cozy and well equipped studio in a multiethnic area of Paris. The area could appear risky but is quite and safe,just better to be not alone during the night as in all Paris.
The studio has a comfortable mezzanine and a sofa bed so it's suitable for a small family or4friends...there is no privacy.Metro station Stalingrad with line no.5,7 and 2 near to the studio, you can reach all the main buildings in about15/20minutes.Supermarket and good bakery just5minutes walk. Chris is a very careful, communicative and kind host.
I spent 4 nights in Chris'studio and I reccomend it to all of you.
everything was great
Great apartment, it has everything as described in the announcement, confortable for a group up to 4 persons. I didn't meet Christian personally, but he made the check-in and check-out processes as easy as possible for us. Besides that, there is a lot of information about the flat and the city in the house manual. The metro station La Chapelle is very close (5min by foot) and there is a supermarket nearby, however it takes approximately 30min by metro to go to the city center.
In general we have nothing to complain, we would definitely stay there again.
Very nice appartement, located near a great transport hub (Gare du Nord). Everything is thought out for us guests and it's really appreciated.
Fantastic, very cozy apartment!
The Studio was exactly what a couple would want and great value, very cute indeed. OK for a family with two kids on the mezzanine but probably not another couple, as completely open walls. great shower and bathroom and kitchen facilities, no oven. thanks for all!
The apartment was quite good, but not very private. It was a good location and Christian was a very accommodating host.
