  • Stayed for the second time at this lovely house. Just right for our little family. And Brande is incredibly responsive. Everything you need is there and she's clearly put time into making it feel like a home. We'll be back next time we're in the area!

  • This place was a great HQ for our friend's wedding in Saxapahaw. The house itself was cute and quaint as advertised. Modern bathrooms and roomy enough for us four adults and our baby's fold out crib. A straight shot up the road to downtown Chapel Hill, with 24/7 stores around the corner if you get in late and need anything. We had a really great time and Brande was the best. Very communicative and considerate. Thank you so much!!!

  • Brande was great and her home is lovely. Brande was incredibly responsive and also very flexible, which I really appreciated as our reservation details had to change several times due to unexpected family events. We are already planning our next stay in her house!

  • Our stay at Brande's place was great. She was responsive with any questions/emails and was a delight to rent from. The house was awesome; impeccably clean and included everything needed for a enjoyable stay (from kitchen utensils for cooking up meals to books for lazy afternoon reads). The location is also ideal for exploring Chapel Hill and surrounding area. I would highly recommend staying here!

  • The farmhouse was fantastic. I stayed there for the month of August while working with a colleague based in the Durham area. The house had all the necessary amenities, was well maintained and comfortable. Brande was an outstanding host, very communicative and sharing with community announcements. I do a lot of writing, and I found that the farmhouse was a perfect environment for focussed work, quiet and peaceful, while also being close to stores and restaurants. Overall, I greatly enjoyed my visit and would strongly recommend the farmhouse to other Airbnb members.

  • We had a great stay - the house was convenient, clean, and filled with all the amenities we could need. Brande and Rik were super hosts, even coming out to help when we had some Internet issues the first day. Our only issue was the radiant heaters - it took a while to figure out how to heat the whole house in a way that everyone was comfortable, but Brande'sinstructions did help. The back office was a nice bonus room - we set up a pack n play, and our youngest then had his own room. FYI- we stayed with a little toddler and moved stuff in front of the radiant heaters to make sure he didn't touch them.

  • Brande's house was super comfortable. My family stayed there over the course of a month and they were thrilled. The bedrooms were comfortable and quiet. The house was well-stocked with linens/towels and the location was really convenient. Brande was a great hostess and easy to contact and very responsive.

  • Brande’s home is a perfect place to explore Chapel Hill and the surrounding areas. It is tucked away in a quiet forest, but next to a highway (which you don’t hear at all), and so offers easy access to explore. It is very centrally located – we didn’t need to drive more than 15 minutes to do anything. The house is in great condition. The rooms are large and comfortable, and it is all impeccably neat and clean. There is everything you could need, including washer/drier, dishwasher, heat and air-conditioning – even a piano. There are lots of extra towels and blankets. The house is very well cared for and maintained. Brande even leaves tour books of the area, magazines and maps, which were so helpful for us because we had never been there. And on top of that, she emails you detailed maps with restaurants, points of interest, and parks, as well as the radio stations. She offers commentary on each one, so that you can make your own decisions. She really takes her time to help you prepare for your trip, and to make your stay as comfortable as possible. She also responds quickly when you ask her questions. She is a wonderful host and it is a fabulous home. We would definitely stay there again next time we go!

  • Dear Brande,

We will long remember the beauty and comfort of your 1920's farmhouse. Your well equipped kitchen was a joy indeed.   Though our days were full with a five day professional training, we enjoyed precious moments amongst the majestic oak trees in the mornings.  The whole ambiance of your cottage was inspiring and we hope to return in a year or two.

    Thank you!
