Experience farm life at our secluded permaculture homestead. Cozy, clean and comfortable and with a bedroom view to our animal barn which houses our horses, goats, sheep, ducks, chickens and livestock guardian dog. Conveniently located just minutes (4 miles) from Amherst town center. A perfect woodland getaway with easy access to the Robert Frost Trail and Metacomet Monadnock Trail.

The space
Our farm is located on a quiet, rural dirt road, surrounded by forest and edged by a babbling brook. Here, my mother and I, as well as a crew of seasonal interns, work to realize a vision for our 13 acres in which the land both provides for our survival needs and is made healthier in the process. You can help support this vision by staying with us!
Built in 1812, our farm house is rustic, though well kept. The bedroom itself is separate from the other downstairs living spaces and has a private feel. Our Border collie, Elka, will greet you as you arrive. Clearly, being an animal lover is a must for this farm stay.
