  • Eilish was a delightful hostess, friendly, accomodating, and helpful but not intrusive. She was always cheerful and interested to hear about our plans and our day. Cahas House is all that we hoped, charming and comfortable and with great features like separate water heaters for each shower that allow you to find and keep your temperature setting and plenty of little shelves for all your stuff, as well as enough outlets for all your gadgets. The house is just a five-minute walk from the main streets of Kenmare, where there are plenty of great restaurants and pubs to choose from. I was sad to leave!

  • The room was spacious as well as the ensuite bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was really good, made to order. The B&B is really close to the city center yet is located in a very quiet area.

Eilish was a fantastic host, very helpful when I got lost on my way there and it has all the amenities that you need. I definitely recommend staying there if you are looking for a place in Kenmare.

  • Room was huge. Bathroom was huge. It was an amazingly comfortable space. Very close to town, walking distance to all the local sights, including the lace museum, town center, holy well, and stone circle. Right at the beginging of the Ring of Kerry and Ring of Beara. Perfect base for touring these two sites. Tea and coffee making facilities in room. Great wifi, tv, well lit, very quaint. The outdoor garden is awesome, there is even a nice calming stream right in the front yard. Very easy to find. Close to a large supermarket and gas station. Scenic area. Good walking. Kenmare is an incredible town. It is colorful, and quintessential, lots of pubs and fun shops, easy to navigate, not touristy but very Irish. I can't get enough of the town, and you can simply take 10 minutes to walk there from this BnB, so cool! Very traditional Irish atmosphere. Eilish was kind, helpful, responsive, and respectful of privacy. She is an absolutely fantastic host. Great experience. Great value. Would recommend. Thank you so much for the fabulous stay, Eilish.

  • If you come to Kenmare and need a place to stay, STAY HERE! If you come to the area and need somewhere to stay, change your itinerary so you stay here!

Elish is an amazing host with an incredible and charming home. She was helpful, accommodating, and cooks and incredible breakfast.

The rooms were spacious, well equipped (but not cluttered), and most importantly of all, clean! The home is an easy walk to the city center and is perfectly located for day trips to tons of wonderful places. Make sure you check the artwork on the wall, because your host painted some of it (how cool is that!).

    Thank you again, Elish!

Hallo I am Eilish, I was born in Kenmare and going home from school years ago one could not miss the visitors to our area, they would go to a lake to fish, sit and have a picnic and even start painting a picture of the lake Trees and Mountain, , I enjoy sharing their interest in our area and our beautiful natural Environment in the most interesting part of Ireland, 'Ring of Kerry' which is world famous and 'Ring of Beara' Kenmare is on the Estuary center of both, We have a special interest in 'Skelligs' which is a 4th century settlement and a wild life refuge I have a great understanding of people who want to get away from it all, I love travel in my own Country, Switzerland and Cruises which gives me the chance to see several places, I have spent 20 years in 'Civil defense' which assist people who get hurt in the sports field or the many cross country events like the 'Kerry Way', I have been Golfing for a few years too but as my handicap has not improved I have given it a rest, I'am a member of Kenmare bridge club as well as taking part in other card games, and of course I enjoy family life. I have prepared our rooms to a very high standard, comfortable beds and all the things that add to your enjoyment, see you soon!
