Great place to stay. The room, bathroom and house were very nice. Elisha was a wonderful hostess. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Zeer vriendelijk onhaal,,dicht bij de winkels, handig als je met de fiets bent
A very clean and tidy more traditional Bed and Breakfast establishment on the edge of town within easy walking distance of the town centre restaurants and pubs. A warm welcome and very good optional breakfast.
We had a wonderful time staying with Eilish. She was warm and friendly, but not overbearing. The rooms were clean and cozy with a large en suite bathroom. The entire house is filled with Eilish's paintings. She is quite talented.
Also, her breakfasts may have been the best we had in Ireland. An excellent full Irish fry.
The B and B is a little bit removed from the center of town, but it is an easy and picturesque walk back and forth (no more than 10 minutes). It is also very near a grocery store as well if you want to pack a picnic lunch before venturing out on the Ring of Kerry.
Overall it is very convenient and cozy, especially with ample free parking in front. We would recommend it to anyone staying in Kenmare.
My husband and I had a wonderful experience in Kenmare! The room was spacious and clean, short 10 minute walk into town. Our hosts were amazing from start to finish, friendly and gracious. Beautiful paintings on the walls, painted by our host, I believe :) Would absolutely recommend staying here, we loved it!!
The place is very nice, well set up for guests and it feels that they really know how to take care of their guests. This, is a proper B&B I can say, own bathroom, along the Ring of Kerry route, even parking for guests. Much worth it! It's just too bad I spent most of my time out & not enough time really enjoying their comfy room!

About the Host, Eilish
Hallo I am Eilish, I was born in Kenmare and going home from school years ago one could not miss the visitors to our area, they would go to a lake to fish, sit and have a picnic and even start painting a picture of the lake Trees and Mountain, ,
I enjoy sharing their interest in our area and our beautiful natural Environment in the most interesting part of Ireland, 'Ring of Kerry' which is world famous and 'Ring of Beara' Kenmare is on the Estuary center of both, We have a special interest in 'Skelligs' which is a 4th century settlement and a wild life refuge
I have a great understanding of people who want to get away from it all, I love travel in my own Country, Switzerland and Cruises which gives me the chance to see several places,
I have spent 20 years in 'Civil defense' which assist people who get hurt in the sports field or the many cross country events like the 'Kerry Way',
I have been Golfing for a few years too but as my handicap has not improved I have given it a rest, I'am a member of Kenmare bridge club as well as taking part in other card games, and of course I enjoy family life.
I have prepared our rooms to a very high standard, comfortable beds and all the things that add to your enjoyment, see you soon!
