Check In
  • We had a lovely stay with Eilish at her well kept b&b. Our room was perfect with an ensuite bath and double bed. Close enough that you can walk to the city centre, but far enough away that it's nice and quiet. She provided us a delicious hot breakfast at a very reasonable price. We would stay here again if we are ever in Kenmare.

  • Eilish was a wonderful and warm host – really wish I hadn't been rushing around so much, and had had more time to get to know her! The room was comfortable and had lots of natural light, which was great. I loved being in Kenmare and getting to explore its hidden heritage sites; its shops also had some of the better prices on woolen goods compared to many other towns I visited. The house was just slightly farther from the town center than I wanted to walk, so I drove, but it is within a reasonable walking distance. Altogether I had a great stay with Eilish.

  • Eilish was very nice and easygoing. The room was large and very tidy, the bed was comfortable and all was nice and warm. We really enjoyed our stay in Kenmare which is a beautiful town with amazing surroundings. There is a shopping centre almost next door which is convenient and the town centre is just a short walk away. The neighbourhood is really quiet which was a big plus.

  • The house was nice but a bit further from town then I envisioned. The bed was hard and the shower was very difficult to get consistent water temperature. (freezing or boiling) Although it was very clear that breakfast would be an additional charge but available, I would not recommend. It seemed a bit of an imposition and was just ok.

  • We hadn't booked a place until the night we near the Caha's house. Eilish was an amazing host! She responded immediately to our request for a room, met us at the door when we arrived, and provided for all of our needs. We had an issue with a flight, and she helped us figure out the appropriate numbers to call and provided the phone to us. If we are near there again, we will definitely stay at the Caha's house again. Thanks Eilish!!!

Hallo I am Eilish, I was born in Kenmare and going home from school years ago one could not miss the visitors to our area, they would go to a lake to fish, sit and have a picnic and even start painting a picture of the lake Trees and Mountain, , I enjoy sharing their interest in our area and our beautiful natural Environment in the most interesting part of Ireland, 'Ring of Kerry' which is world famous and 'Ring of Beara' Kenmare is on the Estuary center of both, We have a special interest in 'Skelligs' which is a 4th century settlement and a wild life refuge I have a great understanding of people who want to get away from it all, I love travel in my own Country, Switzerland and Cruises which gives me the chance to see several places, I have spent 20 years in 'Civil defense' which assist people who get hurt in the sports field or the many cross country events like the 'Kerry Way', I have been Golfing for a few years too but as my handicap has not improved I have given it a rest, I'am a member of Kenmare bridge club as well as taking part in other card games, and of course I enjoy family life. I have prepared our rooms to a very high standard, comfortable beds and all the things that add to your enjoyment, see you soon!
