Our 4-Bedroom 2-Bathroom custom cabin will delight you as you return from skiing, hiking or adventuring the surrounding areas. We share 5 acres of land with elk, a creek and incredible serenity. With a balcony, wood fired stove, outdoor fire pit, and kids accessories, this immaculately maintained cabin is the perfect gnome away from home.

The space
Our cabin is beautifully appointed, spacious and clean. The cabin was built in 2015 by Randle Woods and showcases much of his beautiful wood working.

Come relax and enjoy the quiet at Gnome Away From Home or come to adventure around town! We are close to everything. Less than 20 minutes from White Pass Ski area where you can downhill ski, snowboard, tube or cross-country ski. 10 minutes from Mt. Rainier National Parks entrance and 80 miles from Mt. St. Helen’s National Monument.
Hike, Bike, Fish, Hunt, Jump into the rivers.. We have it all!

While the cabin is located in lower Timberline, it is on 5 acres of land making it incredibly peaceful. In the summer it is a 5 minute walk to the shared tennis courts and playground. We’ve filled the house with all the essentials for a stress-free and memorable vacation.

Highlights include a wood fired stove, an outdoor fire pit for s'mores, Wi-Fi, Smart TV, kid essentials (high chair, Pack 'n Play, dishes, toys), a foosball table and tons of games to relax and enjoy each others company. A mud room with a washer and dryer, laundry soap and tons of hooks to hang your gear.

We love to cook, so the kitchen should have everything your heart desires. With premium appliances including a Whirlpool fridge-freezer, double electric oven, dishwasher, Keurig, and a Wolf toaster oven.

The usual suspects are found in the cupboards including crockpot, instapot, blender, hand mixer, kettle and coffee maker. We haven't forgotten the necessities either: salt and pepper, olive oil, tea, sugar, coffee and cocoa.

Retire into cozy bedrooms with high calibre beds. The main floor boasts one Queen and two twins in the loft. Downstairs has a second Queen and 2 bunk beds (a total of 4 double beds each with its own light) topped with ample pillows and fleece blankets in the winter. Each room has blackout shades on the windows.

Each bathroom offers high quality bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap and body wash. The downstairs bathroom is divided into 3 rooms: the toilet with a sink and mirror, the bathtub/shower, and another sink and mirror allowing many people to get ready at once.

The upstairs living room has gorgeous glass windows that look out onto our 5 acres. You can see the creek and often the Cowlitz river from the balcony.

The downstairs living room has a large comfortable reclining couch, a foosball table, a cupboard full of puzzles and games and lots of kid toys.

Outside you can explore our property, walk through the creek and just enjoy the serenity.

Arrival time is 4:00 pm and departure time is 11:00 a.m. We try to be as accommodating as we can. If your group needs an exception with the arrival or departure time, please feel free to inquire with your desired time changes, we will do our best to accommodate.
