Beautiful home built in 1930. Now newly remodeled with 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Located 7 easy blocks from downtown Ironwood. One king bed, and 3 queen beds. Quiet neighborhood. Great launching point for any local activity. Nordic ski trails less then 4 miles away; downhill skiing, snowshoeing, road and mountain biking, kayaking and hiking are all very close by. Self check in but always available for help. Sorry no pets, and no events/parties allowed.

The space
Why is this house named The Cookie Cottage? Well.....Fran and Oliver Surprenant built this house in 1930. It's been in their family the entire time until I bought it this year. Fran was known around town as the Cookie Lady. In this house she would regularly bake up to 500 dozen cookies to give to friends and everyone she saw in town! In the dining room you will see her original mixing bowl and spoon she used. There is abundant history in this town, and this house is a classic piece of it. I hope you enjoy it!

Great location in town....close to everything. Great launching point for any of our abundant outdoor activities; Lake Superior, Porcupine Mtns, Gile Flowage, Copper Peak, Black River Harbor. Close to hiking, biking, kayaking, waterfalls! Many great paddling and bike routes! Close to the Miners Memorial Heritage Park which features great hiking, biking, skiing and snowshoeing. Good walking distance to downtown with brewery, bakery, coffee shop, co-op grocery store. I will be able to answer any questions you have you have about the area.
