Our nice and comfortable Apartment is located in the centre of the Old Town of Gdańsk and makes you experience the historical atmosphere of this magnificent town. It can accomodate three persons and is very near to all cafes, bars and restarurants.
The studio apartment is located in the centre of the historic city of Gdańsk, Poland. Consisting of one room (sleeping 2-3 persons), kitchen and a bathroom. If you are interested in learning more about the history of the town and exlploring its sights its the best place to be. You can come by plane to the Lech Walesa airport and take a taxi to the Old Town where the studio apartment is located. From here you can travel by train or tram or take a bus to any place you interested in.
Gdańsk offers its visitors many restaurants and pubs, shopping centres, theatres and night clubs. In the summer (July and August) beautiful beaches stretching from Gdynia through Sopot to Gdańsk. Or you may take a trip to visit places located on the open Baltic sea instead.
The Theatre Apartment is a part of an old Gdansk tenament house which was compeltely destroyed during the second world war and rebuilt when it finished. From its windows you can see the remains of the old city walls dating back to the medieval times. You can also see the Wybrzeze Theatre.
The Theatre Apartment was completely refurbished in February 2012. If is fully furbished. It best suits 2 persons or 2 adults with a child or two children. Bed linen , towels and toiletries are provided. The Apartment is clean and beautifully located. The guests can feel free and relaxed here.
In its surroundings you wll find old churches, tenament houses, the most famous Gdansk streets and the area where the St. Dominic's Fair takes place in the summer with its many street stalls and street events. Right downstairs you will find restarurants, pubs, places where summer concerts and celebrations take place .
If you are interested in spending time at the seaside it is recommended that you visit the beaches of Stogi or Brzeźno, where you can start a long walk to other parts of the Gdansk Bay. You can take a trip by sea to the historical sight of Westerplatte where the World War Two started or go to the city of Gdynia by boat.
The Apartment is located at a perfect place if you consider transportation. The Central Railway Station is nearby and numerous buses and trams can take you anywhere in the Tricity and beyond. If you travel by car you can park it at a toll car park which is located 50m from the tenament house or at a guarded car park at the distance of about 300 m, or you can simply park it anlong the street. To avoid paying a fine, however remember that the Old City area is a no parking area !
I can speak Enlish fluently as I am a professional and legal Eglish and Polish translator. I will do my best to make your stay comfortable.
You access the staircase from the street and go upstairs to the second floor by a wide and spacy staircase. The Apartment is independend and will not be shared with anyone. You get the key to the entrance door from the staircase.
Interaction with guests
I keep in touch with guests via emails and by phone. I am usually there personally when my guests arrive. In the unusual cases when Im away my son or husband or a cleaning lady take over
Other things to note
There is an extra charge of 15Euro for arriving after 9.00 pm and leaving before 6.00 am.
Im 43 years old have a family and a dog. Im interested in foreign languages and skiing. Im a friendly and open person.
