It's depends on our business, but we mostly stay at home and working, we would like to have a talk with guests, we think it's the best point of airbnb. Guest can play music in the living room, and drink, cook anytime.
Our neighborhood is boring, except river and parks.
Only a few bars and cafe, never expect for shopping .

I don't really recommend these places.
Takeshi and Ai were fantastic hosts. We enjoyed staying with them a lot. They were extremely friendly and hospitable. If you don't mind a longer train ride to Tokyo, than their home is great. They are happy to answer any questions you may have and can make great suggestions on things to do in areas of Tokyo.
I needed to get away from crazy busy tokyo so i could plan my trip and do more.. it was perfect for this. Takeshi is a way cool dude and his english is great. he is super accommodating.. It takes a while to get into tokyo from here. but that didn't bother me as i was staying put.
Great apartment and Takeshi is very friendly and helpful!
I had a great stay! Ai-san and Takeshi-san really are an exceptional couple.Very friendly and interesting people to talk to.
After two weeks in Tokyo it was nice to be in a more quite area.
The interior design is (as the pictures here also show) very nice.
Apart from it being a very stylish apartment and always clean, I think their enthusiasm as hosts was remarkable. It was more like staying with friends than strangers and they were very relaxed and accommodating about (website hidden) in particular took me shopping and I enjoyed many conversations with her in both English and Japanese. As they are both well-traveled, I think they can understand well the needs and desires of others on the road.
Absolutely no reservations in recommending them!
The apartment is a short walk (7 minutes) to a main station on the Seibu-Shinjuku line, so it's relatively easy to get into the big city, especially if you catch one of the expresses. At the same time, it has a great view of Mt. Fuji and other mountains all around. Coming from Montana in the States, it was a breath of fresh air after spending a couple of weeks in Tokyo proper. It's well situated for trips to hot-springs or to go hiking, or to head into Kawagoe for a bit of old Japan. In general you won't see so many foreigners here, so it's a great place to practice your Japanese.
Takeshi and Ai are both amazing, we had lots of stories and travel tips to swap, and plenty of laughter too. Their apartment is quite unique with a mixture of traditional Japanese and modern art, and it's super comfortable and cozy. I was also very lucky to be able to join them for New Year celebrations. I went as a guest and left with two new friends, hope to see them both again!
