3-story, 3 bedroom Victorian house with all the charm. Wireless internet, kitchen privileges extra, shared bathroom. Washer, dryer, microwave, jenn air gas stove. Quiet, nice neighborhood surrounded on three sides by water. Across the Delaware River from Philadelphia, seasonal fireworks. Very nice area, lots of shopping nearby. Ample street parking.
5 miles from Walt Whitman and Ben Franklin Bridges to Philadelphia. 25 miles from Delaware Memorial Bridge. Close to Deptford Mall, Cherry Hill, Camden.
Home has been lovingly restored and has all the gingerbread. Two story workshop with electric, playhouse, basement.
Meals are not provided.
You'll have access to the center bedroom on the second floor. Has lots of morning light with three floor to ceiling windows. Share second floor bathroom with couple who resides there. End of September may have second bathroom finished on first floor, in which case guests will be able to have private bathroom.
Interaction with Guests
We have a very gentle German Shepherd mix who is 6 years old and loves people. He will get really excited to see you, and will spend time with you if you like him, but he loves his "dad" and doesn't let him out of his sight.
The Mayor of Westville lives on this street, as well as the administrator, who lives across the street. The next street over has a small park right on the River where you can see the Philly skyline and the bridges.
There are trains out of Camden and Woodbury. There are Camden trains that go into Philadelphia. Close access to 42, 295, and the New Jersey Turnpike.
Other Things to Note
If you need gas for the car, New Jersey boasts low prices and they pump the gas for you. If you have no computer or phone, we can help you locate places with our computers, lead you to restaurants and coffee shops and such.
No unapproved guests. No pets.
