Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • 20 stars!!! Emerson's parents are amazing. They stayed up and waited for our arrival at 2am, stayed up to offer a beverage and advice for our stay. We failed to get our Argentina visa ahead of time. You can apply on (website hidden) and pay an extra US $30 (on top of the normal $20 processing fee) to get one but you have to print it out and bring it to the border with you. They have Wifi (contrary to previous reviews) but no printer so she helped us find a place that would allow us to print for free. When they offered to drive us for R 250 per person, she went out and found a taxi to take us for R 140 total. We never felt ripped off and in fact felt cared for as if we were her children. She reminded us to wear bug spray, to make sure we check that we did not leave anything behind like glasses or chargers, etc. She made a lovely breakfast each morning. On our third day, our flight was at 4pm so Ferdinando offered to drive us around to see other sites while saving time. For R 100, he drove us to Itaipu dam, Buddhist temple, past favelas, to the triple border, and to the bird park. He waited outside with our luggage in the trunk at each location. AMAZING! We loved them both very much and they made our trip 100% better than if we had stayed in a hotel. They only speak Spanish and Portuguese, but Mariana said that her daughter speaks English and she comes by daily. The room itself was simple but absolutely served our needs. The place is very clean and safe as the home is gated. A short walk to the bus to take to the Brazilian side park, which Mariana accompanied us to the first morning and waited until we were on the right bus. We highly recommend them!

  • We spent three nights at this place which is in between city centre and the falls. Donna Marianna is very nice, caring, neat and helpful mother, taking care of us and evernody in the apartment. We felt at home, rested well and suggest this bnb with full-heart.

  • SUPER CLEAN, COMFY and Emerson's parents were SUPER NICE. They truly embody what excellent customer service is about professionalism, willingness to help, excellent service. I stayed in the very COZY blue room for 9 days. Mariana and Fernando showed walked me to the bus stop on my first day when I wanted to go to the cataratas. I was there to study and Fernando picked me up on his car everyday back and forth. HIGHLY recommend this place. It made my stay much more enjoyable. You won't find this kind of service in a 5 start hotel. These are people making you feel SAFE, Giving you the opportunity to have a HOME away from home and Since YOUR satisfaction is their priority your experience is much more enhanced. Gracias y hasta la proxima!

  • We were fortunate to stay at Emerson's parent's house. His parents are very nice people, his mom showed us around and gave directions that were useful and easy to understand even with my imperfect Spanish or Portuguese. Our stay in Foz do Iguacu was remarkable. Thank you, Emerson, for your prompt coordination, it was exactly what we needed at that very short notice. Please give our regards to your parents, they are wonderful people!

  • I enjoyed my stay at Emerson's parents' house in Foz. The room is clean and comfortable and the home is located just a few blocks from a bus stop where you can go to the Brazilian or Argentine sides of the park. The breakfast was also delicious! Emerson's parents were helpful with taking me to a laundromat and even picking up my clothes so that I didn't have to return early from the park. I am really glad I stayed here during my time in Foz.

Hi, I'm Emerson and am from Iguassu - Brazil. Some time ago I decided to leave my hometown in South Brazil and moved to London where I lived for about 6 years. Then in 2010 decided to move to Warsaw in Poland with my wife and there I was until few days ago when we decided to have a new adventure :-). Just arrived in Barcelona, Spain few days ago. Let's see if we settle down this time or who knows right? This world is so big with so many beautiful places to visit and to live in. One of the things I most like to do is travelling. During these years I have visited some countries in Europe and always tried to know at least a little bit about different cultures. Another passion is watching movies. Is there anything better than eat popcorn with a coke in front of a big screen? Yes, of course there is... I know. For instance why not come to visit my hometown, the Iguassu Waterfalls and get a totally different experience? Did you know that in Iguassu you can visit 3 countries at once? Amazing isn't it? Did you know that there was built the biggest dam in the world? I can ensure you that this is a magical place. Once you see the falls and interact with all the nature you'll understand what I'm talking about. So book your place with us and just enjoy your holidays. Be sure we will do our best to make you feel comfortable. Any doubts, please drop me a line and I can give you all info you need. See ya and have great holidays!! :)
