Adorable den in the heart of Walkerville and within minutes from the Detroit border and wine country. Have an extended stay in this cosy, newly renovated basement studio apartment. When you book, check out our hosts' guide to Windsor and Detroit to get an overview of the hottest spots in both cities! Please be advised that the space is den-like so it's better suited for people under 6'!

The space
This space is cosy and ideal for a couple. It can also accommodate a family of 3 or a couple with a small child. It is a private open concept studio apartment meaning there are no doors to the bedroom. It is not a shared space with the rest of the house so you have the studio completely to yourself. It is not recommended for anyone who is super tall!

My wife and I love to travel, but haven't been doing enough lately. Hopefully we'll remedy that sooner than later. Destinations that I/we've enjoyed are roving over the country side in Italy, doing business in India and Singapore and living in Southern California for seven years. Of course one can't leave out the great travel times in Nevis, Montserrat and Virgin Gorda. We've driven to Florida all too many times and have on occasion stayed at bnb's along the way. We've also enjoyed Washington DC through the guidance of a bnb host. (NB, these were not Airbnb hosts) All great adventures. We love staying in homes of the people where we are traveling. It's obvious that the personal information from the host is always informative and helpful to those that are unfamiliar with the territory that they are traveling in. The way I see it, enjoy life by getting inside the box and looking out. You'll be surprised at what you see.
