Super clean little place just as pictured and described. Perfectly quiet and felt absolutely safe. Best coffee just around the corner, along with some really good eateries.
Communication with Jeruschka was excellent with fast responses via email and text, along with a welcome phone call.
The garden made it especially nice in the heat of the summer. Perfect for visiting my kids.
We spent 3 nights at Jeruschka's place and everything was really fine. The place is nice and neat and we weren't missing anything. The neighborhood is also really nice and we had a safe feeling while walking around and exploring cute little cafés and restaurants.
Jeruschka was a great help, easy to communicate with, funny, full of energy and helpful. Her husband john was also friendly, easy going and helpful. Nice people !!
I do a great deal of traveling and this was one of the best experiences I have had with Air BnB. Lovely all around.
While the space a bit compact, I was very happy with accommodations. Clean, private, convenient and comfortable. The price and location are excellent for a short stay in NY, especially if you want to stay in an area that's a little more low key than say Manhattan or Williamsburg. The neighborhood isn't lacking in small restaurants and services and the subway is super convenient. I will definitely consider Jeruschka when I next plan a trip to NY. She was very friendly, communicative, and welcoming.
I can't rave about Jeruschka and her apartment enough! She's incredibly accommodating and always available should you need something - which you won't because she's anticipated everything.
Her garden apartment is clean, comfortable and just a few blocks away from the train and Prospect Park in an incredibly safe and vibrant neighborhood.
This was my second time staying at her garden apartment and it absolutely won't be the last.

About the Host, Jeruschka
I am originally from Kansas, but have lived in Brooklyn for 16 years. I started doing Airbnb in April of 2011. And I love it. We have met so many people from all parts of the world, whom have different reasons for staying in our private perfectly sized apartment.
When people come to visit New York, they already have a purpose for their visit. Therefore, I tend to stay away unless needed. I work long hours and always start early, but do my best to at least make a stop over to say hello.
