Ca de Capun Camere Franco is a landlord who rents rooms directly on the web. The rooms are situated in the very centre of the small town of Manarola inside "Le Cinque Terre National Park" in a nice and quiet location only a few steps from the shore and train station and within walking distance from the famous "Via Dell'Amore". All the rooms, recently refurbished, will let you have a pleasant stay with good value for money.
Cà de Capun Camere Franco will welcome you in a warm and pleasant atmosphere.
Hard-working Roberta, always very busy ironing and cooking, has a very sweet tooth and enjoys a glass of "limoncino" at 2 in the morning.
Very creative and busy Emiliano will surely recommend nice places to visit and where to enjoy good food and drinking.
Franco, is a sprightly pensioner thoroughly enjoying his retirement; cultivating his small backyard orhard (unsuccessfully!) and producing excellent wine and lemons. Do not disturb him during his winter holidays when he spend most of his time sailing at sea!
Sleepyhead Cesare, creator and designer of our internet site is very fond of deep-sea fishing and used to a glass of wine at sunset.
Check-in time from 13.00, and check-out at 10:00.
The rooms are rented with full supply of linens and towels, and they are equipped with fan, safe-box deposit, small fridge and a kettle to prepare coffee, tea and camomilla.
Room Franco has a the Environment Quality Brand (EQB), a certification issued by the 5 Terre National Park which attests
its compliance with concrete actions to safeguard the environment and its natural limited resources.
I like the location as it right in front of the tunnel. No need to trek a hill or drag your luggages to several steps of stairs. Very easy to find and there are lots of nearby restaurants. I did not have the chance to meet Emiliano, except for the father. However, prior to my arrival, Emiliano was very attentive to my messages and replied quicky to my concerns. His father was very friendly and loves to sing. He sings as he helps us out in carrying our luggages up to our room. He gave us a welcome drink - the famous limoncillo, he made us drink two rounds of that.
The room is clean with huge beds. The toilet is also big. Wifi connection is fast. We had a pleasant stay at Emiliano's place.
Since I wanna visit Cinque Terre again, I will definitely book Emiliano's place again.
Wonderful location. About ten steps away from the train station! Franco was so welcoming!
We were greeted warmly and provided with everything we needed. Despite or maybe because of our inability to speak Italian, the meet and great was great fun.
The place was easy to find (just walk to the end of the rail tunnel and straight ahead and you will see the café and its the door to the left (through the outdoor tables and chairs).
The room was very large and airy. bathroom was also very spacious. The beds (two singles joined together) were also very roomy however maybe the mattresses are in need of replacing.
There is also a lovely balcony to the front.
If you are a light sleeper you may find the 6.00AM daily bin collection and evening restaurant noise right below you difficult. Given I sleep like a log, I had no difficulty
Cannot review the room itself as we had problems during our trip and could not make it to Manarola. But have contacted the host several times the day before with no response. So can only assume that they did not receive our messages or perhaps were not expecting us on the day.
We so enjoyed our stay in Manarola. The apartment was right as you enter the town at the end of the tunnel from the train so it was very convenient for exploring both ends of the town. Franco, Emiliano's father, was so much fun as we tried to communicate with our limited knowledge of Italian! We saw him around town and he was so friendly and fun! Our rooms were plenty big enough and had a little balcony where you could sip wine and enjoy the view.
Franco welcomed us into his home with open arms and limoncello! We felt right at home in our spacious and clean room with a large bathroom and a balcony overlooking the main street in Manarola. The location cannot be beat--it is literally right out of the train station, which is ideal considering we saw a lot of people lugging their suitcases uphill/upstairs throughout town. We loved our stay in Manarola, the most beautiful of the five towns! Thank you Franco!
