Elle is a traditional Romany Bow Top Window and Door style Gypsy Caravan. Built on an original dray with traditional gun carriage wheels. Built for a Romany by a Romany and taken to Appleby Horse Fair by its previous owner three years ago. Sleeps two.
There is an original "Queenie" stove that the gypsies used for heating and cooking. We supply the first fire full of charcoal.
Outside there is a charcoal burning fire pit where you can light a fire, and sit and gaze at the stars.
And watch the sunset over the Lizard Peninsular.
Elle is available for long or short breaks.

Interaction with Guests
We always have helpers available to help out with any questions you may have.
There are some great pubs and restaurants close by. We recommend the Five Pilchards for lunch and evening meals. We also recommend Fat Apples Cafe for breakfast and lunch. There are a large number of other eating places that we can recommend when you are here.
Public transport is to St. Keverne. This is non existent on Sundays. To travel here by train and bus, will bring you to St. Keverne. From St. Keverne we are one mile along a public footpath.
If you come by public transport, take a train to Camborne, and bus to Helston, for ease of travel it could be recommended that you take a taxi from Helston to our door!
We are almost as far south west as you can travel without going into the sea!
An area of unspoilt natural beauty.

Hidden away on the lizard, a beautiful spot, quiet and peaceful. 10 minute forest walk to the beach was a nice surprise. Additional, more modern caravan was a very welcomed addition, saved a longer walk to the toilets. Friendly welcome and have and will recommend to sub 6 foot 2 people.
Really enjoyed our stay at the Gypsy wagon. Jonathan was a great host and the place had everything you would really need, with a beautiful landscape. We had breakfast at the fat apple where Jonathan recommended where we after multiple breakfast during the trip couldn't recommend enough - great warm environment.
We stayed in Ellie the Gypsy Caravan, it was awesome, really comfortable and a lovely experience. Would highly recommend, a great escape and good value for money. Location is perfect for a short walk to the beach and nearby pub. Short drive to the Lizard too! Great place!
Very interesting and atmospheric place to stay. Beautiful landscape and views, and very cozy authentic gypsy caravan. A little tight trying to sleep since I almost didn't fit lengthwise in the bed (I am about 5'10", 177cm), but a cool and unique experience. Loved hearing the rain and wind while snug inside, and having the little stove glowing. And very friendly, helpful and hospitable people at the farm.
Jonathan was there to greet us on arrival and he happily showed us around the wonderful world he has created on his beautiful farm. My brief stay there felt like something out of a fairy tale and I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a bit of magic to touch their soul.
Thank you Jonathan for such a fabulous, cosy and unique experience; great attention to detail with fast and easy communication. We wish we could have stayed longer! Would love to stay again!
Wow! What a place and what a find. We felt so lucky to have found this place - we're defintely coming back!
Sadly we never got to meet Jonathan but James was on hand to check us in and show us around. It was like a private getaway location.
Elle was so cute! We must have taken about 30 photos and Instagrammed it to death! We even forgot we had a caravan next to us for our cooking, dining and bathroom facilities - that was such a bonus.
Nothing prepares you for what a fantastic location this is, so people really are in for such a treat when they come to stay here.

About the Host, Jonathan
I live on the Lizard peninsular, as I find this area one of the most inspirational in the UK. I am an artist/builder who creates spaces of light and beauty. My aim is to welcome you into a dwelling for your pleasure and relaxation. I enjoy using ideas of times passed and endeavor to achieve an ‘other worldliness’ in my work.
I spend my time in constant contemplation of the next project in mind. Other than that you can find me enjoying music and dance, or Cornish coastal walking with my partner and dog.
