I booked Piero's apartment with a group of friends for one night (we were visiting the Architecture Biennale opening events), but ended up not staying there myself due to a change in my travel schedule.
My friends did though, and were very satisfied with Piero's apartment. Check-in was smooth and the location is great for Biennale-related activities, as one is located halfway between Giardini and Arsenale. Based on the feedback provided by my travel companions and my interactions with Piero beforehand, I would highly recommend this apartment.
Excellent flat for the price, and a terrific area. Very helpful, and great a great fish shop and boat selling fruit and veg just round the corner.
We would certainly go back.
My family and I stayed in Piero's apartment in September 2013 and we loved the location. Close enough to St Marks and we also experienced how the locals live with lovely markets just around the corner.
Piero was a good host and organised a water taxi for us which helped us out greatly.
A bit disapointed with the extra linen charge and we were only left with 3 towels to use for 6 people, however when I asked for more towels they were provided.
I also expected that Piero would be waiting out the front of the apartment for us but was waiting for us inside which made it a bit difficult to find it. Lucky a pizza delivery man let me use his phone to contact Piero as we didn't have phone on us.
Overall the apartment is nice and clean and in a lovely area. Would definitely stay there again.
Piero is a wonderfully thoughtful host, very helpful
and accomadating host. Highly recommend apartments, highly organised with written instruction in multiple language.
Location! Location! What a great place to stay for a group of 6 on a budget. Walking distance to San Marco and convenient to bars Coop and friendly restaurants. Sound sleeping on comfortable beds. The apartment was small for Aussies but quite adequate. A second set of keys would be useful. A great introduction to Italy. Recommend the water taxi ride to or from Airport!
Our stay was wonderful at Piero's apartment. The location was perfect - within easy walking distance to San Marco and the Rialto.
Extremely well located, easy to get from Vaporetto stop to apt, in an area that is out of tourist traffic. Large and well equipped. There was a linens charge that I did not know (email hidden) and WIFI could work better, but I would definitely stay again.
Piero is a very good person. Very kind. The appartment is great and very well located and is easy to get it!
