Garden view

Soak up the view during your stay.
Some info has been automatically translated.
The furniture was designed with a lot of love for detail: antique and modern furniture, art kitsch and stuff create an individual mixture.

The extremely spacious layout of our private room offers space for a kitchenette as well as a sleeping, living and dining area.
With your own bathroom, you will feel independent and private.

Highlight: View of the garden and your own terrace.

The price does not include the overnight stay tax: €3.55/night/person.

The space
Art and stuff, books and pictures, old and new - that is the motto of our individual furnishings.
If you are looking for a sterile, almost empty and impersonal accommodation, you will not feel comfortable here.
From a small anteroom you can access your own bathroom/toilet and the spacious and lockable private room. Here in a large room is a fully equipped kitchenette (without dishwasher), a beautiful dining area, a couch and between the bookshelf and wardrobe the comfortable double bed (160 × 200 cm).
The couch visually separates the living area and sleeping area.
Our guests were always happy about the flower window overlooking the terrace and garden. Right next to the flower window is the exit to the terrace - the swiveling insect protection door and the lattice door allow the terrace door to remain open even at night.

Wi-Fi is available free of charge.

During your stay, the terrace will be available to you alone.
However, the garden is NOT available for guests!

You can use everything in the kitchen. The books and information about Salzburg are at your disposal.

A private wardrobe with clothes hooks and drawers offers ample space and storage.

Since we sometimes use this space ourselves, there are private clothes and other things in the second wardrobe. Also in the lower drawer in the bathroom.
We ask that you respect privacy.

The price does not include the overnight stay tax for the city of Salzburg: €3.55/person/night.
As part of the overnight stay tax, guests receive a free ticket for all public transport in the state of Salzburg (Mobility Ticket).

The train station and historic center are easily and directly accessible by public bus.

Supermarket within walking distance.

Since we live in a residential area with few shops and restaurants, we recommend the center of the city of Salzburg in this regard.

Guest access
In the entrance area, which is used by all residents of the house, there is space for coats and shoes.
Please note that street shoes are not worn in the house/private room.
You can access your room via the general corridor.
Next to it is the door to get into the basement. This access is (rarely) used by us and for this reason our accommodation is not a separate apartment, but a private room.

Other things to note
We ask all guests to use water and energy (heating, hot water and electricity) responsibly and economically.

The central heating of the house switches on automatically in the cooler time as soon as the outside temperature repeatedly falls below 17 degrees Celsius during the day.
During the heating season, the heated room temperature is approx. 21 degrees Celsius. At night, a temperature reduction is active.
Guests from very warm or tropical areas find the temperature in the transition months or in the time when there is no heating rather cool.

For tenants of 2 weeks or more, due to the strong price reduction:
Toilet paper for the first few days.
No shower gel / shampoo / conditioner.
No intermediate cleaning.
No change of bed linen and towels. This is done independently at your own discretion... fresh bed linen and towels are available.

When you leave the house, ALWAYS carry the house key with you. Once the door falls into the lock, you can only open it from the outside with the key.
Classic situations: You just go out for a moment to put the trash in the bin, or to get something out of the car.... the door falls into the lock. Oh dear!

Terrace:
When leaving the house (for sightseeing or departure) and in the evening: Retract the awning and bring all seat covers into the house. Wind, thunderstorms or rain are possible at any time.

After check-in: Make yourself comfortable, make this place your own.

Neighborhood highlights

Our house is located in a quiet neighborhood, whose image is characterized by single-family houses with gardens.

It's quiet at night.
Naturally, there is more traffic during rush hour.

Infrastructure can be reached within 5 minutes on foot:
Billa supermarket, Lidl supermarket, pharmacy, tobacconist, hairdresser, two Chinese restaurants;

In just 12 minutes: other shopping such as Interspar, DM drugstore, bakery with cafe, bank with ATM,
Skybar with views over the city in the city library (one of my favorite places).

A 10-minute walk is a very well-kept, typical Austrian inn with outdoor dining. If you want something to eat fast, there is a Chinese restaurant at the bus stop.
Otherwise, we recommend restaurants and beer bars in downtown.
Our guests also appreciate the delivery option of various online providers or cook themselves.

Only about 100 m away is our bus stop "Peilsteinerstraße" for lines 1 and 7 to go directly to the city center, to the Müllner Bräustübel, to the train station, to the university hospital/PMU, to the fair or to the swimming lake.

Bus no. 11 takes you directly to Leopoldskron Palace. This was a famous filming location in the Sound of Music movie.

Just a few bus stops out of town (bus no. 7) is a small swimming lake (free admission and also free parking) in the very beautiful Salzachseen recreational area. Ideal for cooling off quickly in the water after a long day of sightseeing.)

I love to travel and meet likeable people. I am communicative, have humor, love music and beautiful, old houses with an individual touch. Luxury is great but doesn't have to be. Atmosphere is more important. I love vacation homes or vacation rentals, as I want to prepare a meal myself at least once a day - already for health reasons. And then I have the opportunity to shop regional products at the markets. At the hotel, I would miss this experience and participation in the culture. My motto: Leave the house the way you would like you to host yourself.
