Our studio apartment in located on the first floor of our house here in Noe Valley, on the hill between the Valley and Twin Peaks. It is newly renovated with a full kitchen and bathroom and set up for guests with basic grocery and bath needs. The bed is a queen sized bed with luxurious bedding, and there is a dining area set for two. There is wireless internet access but no television. An iPod dock is provided for your music.
Noe Valley is in central San Francisco. Our home is 5 blocks from Castro Street and the busy shopping/ restaurant district of 24th Street. Our street is a small one block street with no busses or traffic, it's very quiet and peaceful while still being centrally located. Public Transit is pretty easy, the 48 bus runs right by our house and if you walk down the hill there are several lines.
Our house is on a fairly steep hill (it's all relative in SF!) with two flights of stairs and an uneven ramp so if your mobility is limited this might not be the best option (PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS - ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE BOOKING FOR SOMEONE ELSE). Parking is very easy on our street since there are no resident sticker requirements and no one from the neighborhood wants to climb our hill.
In the Noe Valley district, lots of nice shopping and dining in the area.
Yes the 48 line stops a couple blocks away. Close to BART.
No groups larger than two persons allowed, no parties/ overnight guests.
My boyfriend and I had a great stay at the Studio apartment. It was exactly as shown in the photos and clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is super cute (and hilly) - we loved it. Isaac was really responsive via text and flexible with check in/out times. I'd definitely stay here again!
We arrived late in the evening in San Francisco, coming from Buenos Aires in three exhausting flights, and were very happy to find everything prepared in the Apartment from Isaac. No street noise and everything we need; Bed, bathroom, kitchen, wifi was perfect for us.
Before our stay in this studio, we never brushed our theeth having such a splendid view out of the bathroom window. We stayed 6 nights. After breakfast we explored Castro and the neighbourhood streets. To go further bus and trams were easy to catch, to downtown it took us approx. half an hour, passing through nice and interesting streets. The studio reminded us of the bohemian times as students. And walking the streets and stairs of Noe Valley is a good exercise after the excellent food one can find in SF.
Isaac was nice and responsive. Unobtrusive and helpful. Studio was private and clean. Great location near good restaurants and stores. Our only complaint is that we did have a lot of flies in the bathroom. Isaac said he would spray the place so shouldn't be a problem in the future.
Fantastic - Isaac's studio apartment was great! Superb area with amazing local coffee shops and restaurants. Really enjoyed our trip to San Francisco! Thanks Isaac.
The space was great! Very comfy studio with a cozy bed nook and a view from the bathroom like no other. Isaac was easy to get ahold of and very accommodating. Beautiful garden in the front yard. Noe Valley is charming and the apartment is atop the steepest hill I've ever climbed, I loved it after all the food we were eating but for those with hip/knee problems, there's always uber!!
My wife and I are first time travellers to SF and airbnb users. The neighborhood in Noe Valley is really amazing and overall we were satisfied with the studio and the price was a bargain.
You can get dt or anywhere else innSfbvia mission and 24th bart. Getting to the bart is about a 20 min walk, $10 cab or $7 uber ride. Castro (famous g&l block) is 20 min walk up a hill... Great bars to party in.
The studio is exactly how the pictures show. Some pros: Isaac was great and accommodating on our late flight and he responded to our questions right away, good location with great restaurants nearby, kitchen is well equipped and saved us a few $ for meals we cooked in (Whole Foods and Walgreen's is 5-7 min walk away) Some cons, the light pours into the house in the morning (so if you want to sleep in...bring an eye mask), the bed is a bit high off the ground (tough for my wife but there is a step stool so again not a big deal), also the bed was a bit short so just be aware.
An FYI, the bathroom does not have a door but a curtain. Not a big deal for my wife and I but just a heads up if you travel with friends...
Overall we would stay there again. If you want the Hilton, be prepared to pay $225-275/night... If you want a clean place for a good price, I would recommend this studio.
A SF native I have lived here all my life. I teach Tai Chi and martial arts and live with my cat Mini. The studio was renovated a few years ago and i really enjoy sharing it. I like to entertain and to cook. I hope you will enjoy the studio and my wonderful city as much as i do.
