Studio Apartment in Noe Valley

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Fountain St, San Francisco, CA 94114, United States

The Space

Our studio apartment in located on the first floor of our house here in Noe Valley, on the hill between the Valley and Twin Peaks. It is newly renovated with a full kitchen and bathroom and set up for guests with basic grocery and bath needs. The bed is a queen sized bed with luxurious bedding, and there is a dining area set for two. There is wireless internet access but no television. An iPod dock is provided for your music.

Noe Valley is in central San Francisco. Our home is 5 blocks from Castro Street and the busy shopping/ restaurant district of 24th Street. Our street is a small one block street with no busses or traffic, it's very quiet and peaceful while still being centrally located. Public Transit is pretty easy, the 48 bus runs right by our house and if you walk down the hill there are several lines.

Our house is on a fairly steep hill (it's all relative in SF!) with two flights of stairs and an uneven ramp so if your mobility is limited this might not be the best option (PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS - ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE BOOKING FOR SOMEONE ELSE). Parking is very easy on our street since there are no resident sticker requirements and no one from the neighborhood wants to climb our hill.

The Neighborhood

In the Noe Valley district, lots of nice shopping and dining in the area.

Getting around

Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Isaac's studio was lovely. My girlfriend and I spent two nights there, and it was a wonderful experience. Isaac was a welcoming host a provided an excellent dinner recommendation in the nearby Castro. The studio is also uniquely situated in a quiet (and hilly) residential area with easy access to all of the sights and hot spots in San Francisco. We found it easy to get around by public transit and walking.

  • We booked and arrived at the same day but this was not a problem at all. Isaac answered really quick and gave us all the informations we needed. He was a really helpfull host! The studio had all we needed for our stay and is well located in a quite area. We definitely come back!

  • Isaac's studio was awesome! It was cozy and well-kept, and the nook-canopy bed was a major plus! The hills leading up to the apartment are something to consider, but they are filled with restaurants and cafes and boutiques to consider as well. It's a convenient locale and at the same time enough out of the way as to be quiet and comfortable.

    Isaac was a great host and very considerate, punctual, and helpful. Always responded quickly when we had a question about the city. Thanks Isaac!

  • Clean & a good value. All information about arriving and logistics was clear. Our stay was without issue. It was very nice to be able to park only a few houses down on the street.

  • Good things about the studio:
    - it's affordable;
    - has all the basics (and even a hair dryer);
    - the neighborhood is amazing; in addition to physical exercises you'll have an intellectual quest trying to explain to a taxi driver where this tiny little street is located;
    - you've got that view from the bathroom window!

    thank you Isaac

  • The studio was perfect for us. My wife and I lived in SF for many years and we wanted a place to stay that would allow us to easily visit our old haunts and explore some new ones. The studio is clean, close to tons of good spots in Noe Valley, and has easy access to public transportation. Comfy bed, good water pressure, and a quite street. It is on a very steep hill, but that's SF. A good tip is to ask the diver on the 48 bus for the 'Hoffman Loop' and they will drop you just steps from the front door of Isaac's studio. We'd definitely stay there again.

A SF native I have lived here all my life. I teach Tai Chi and martial arts and live with my cat Mini. The studio was renovated a few years ago and i really enjoy sharing it. I like to entertain and to cook. I hope you will enjoy the studio and my wonderful city as much as i do.
