  • This was my second time staying with Jennifer, Abraham, and the kids. Once again, it was a wonderful experience. Jennifer could not have been more accommodating - even providing an overnight place for our bikes. And having coffee and muffins ready for us at 7:30A was an added bonus, especially before a long (60 miles!!) bike journey. It's also great sharing travel stories with Jennifer.

  • Jennifer and her family were delightful hosts! They made us feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door. Their beautiful Victorian home was comfortable and cozy and packed with history. We enjoyed roaming the property, which was teeming with wildlife including a family of deer. Our time spent there was relaxing and truly enjoyable. We look forward to visiting again soon. Thank you Jennifer and family for a wonderful time!

  • Jennifer was awesome and the house was spectacular. We came in late and she was very accomodating. In the morning, she had coffee, orange juice and pastries ready.

Admittedly, at first we were a bit put off by the room we had - but that didn't last long. The weather was perfect and the breeze blowing into the room cooled it down substantially and we slept really well. The room ended up having some treasures - antique furniture, small plates for jewelry and other stuff.

There were 3 bathrooms considerately outfitted with some shampoo, shower gel and towels. Another couple was there too, and we never ran into each other except at breakfast.

The house had a front porch and a back courtyard, and we chilled for hours on the porch looking out on the beautiful, well-kept grounds. The house was pretty "hidden"...the only sounds were crickets and a rooster crowing in the morning. Jen also had wifi, so we could bring our electronics with us. We really didn't need them, as there was plenty to read about Mattituck and we all shared the New York Times in the mornings.

Jen guided us with our Wine Country visit. She had a map of the area and underlined the vineyards she thought were worthwhile to visit. Jen really made us feel at home.

We would give Jennifer and her home the highest ratings. What a beautiful, relaxing experience!

  • This is a lovely victorian home, a historical landmark in fact! If you are in the NoFo wine country, this is a perfect place to stay. It is near everything, and Jennifer and her family make more than gracious hosts.
You will sleep comfortably in one of the many bedrooms and wake to birds chirping and delicious coffee brewing. It is an authentic bed&breakfast experience, and one of the best values in the area.

Make sure to stop by any of the local restaurants in town of Mattituck on Love Lane (walking or biking distance).

  • Jennifer and family were lovely hosts -- rooms were nice, the hammock was perfect, and the tree swing and chickens a complete delight for our three-year old. Good coffee in the morning, and advice about where to go - a wonderful place! We hope to come back.

  • I had a relaxing stay in this soulful, all wood grand old house, on what was once a huge swath of farmland which thankfully retains that mellow, unspoiled vibe. I was particularly touched to meet two happy chickens who roamed free in the day in the back area. Hosts Jennifer and hubby were down to earth, friendly, smart, busy parents (to a cool, smart kid) who did their own thing. Nice touch is they leave out fresh muffins, bread & butter for guests in the kitchen, and offer use of their microwave for guests to make tea/coffee to get started.

My room (3rd floor) had a wide view, simple cozy charm and a comfortable bed I had no problem sleeping on (I'm a sensitive sleeper.) A quiet ceiling fan shooed away the pesky summer humidity & heat making it very pleasant, also gave it a timeless feel... glad to avoid the nuisance of an a/c with all that noise/ waste of electricity/ugliness.

Farms and vineyards are minutes away (by car which is helpful to explore the area), with that North Fork calm unfound on the rushed, increasingly pretentious car clogged South Fork. The town is nearby has a few cute shops, a regular grocery store, and local roads near the house are usually empty enough for a relaxing long stroll or bike ride.

Stress is impossible to feel here, in fact it can almost be guaranteed your stay will be peaceful, memory making, unhurried. A rare thing indeed. Thank You!

  • Jennifer and her family were extremely kind and welcoming, while the home she shared with us was beautiful. I can't wait to come back here for our next North Fork wine tasting excursion!

  • Beautiful house, and very friendly family. Only wish we could have stayed longer :)

  • Jennifer and her family where the most amazing hosts. From directing us in after a late ferry ride, an after hours glass wine, to helping us with planning our bike trip the next day. Did I mention just happening to find a spare tire to repair a blow out on one our bike tires. Over the top! We will be back, espicially since I have a standing chess challenge with their son. We will be back.
