Private bedrooms, shared bathrooms in a house overlooking downtown Athens, Georgia. Very short walk to Downtown, Campus, and 5 points. From the large upstairs bedroom you can observe The Tree that Owns Itself, an Athens landmark. This bedroom has a full sized bed, desk, and reading nook. Towels and linens are provided as well as morning breakfast, I bake fresh bread several times a week. There is some off street parking, deck, internet access, gardens. This home is so close to the music and sports scene, that
from the back yard you can hear the roar of the UGA stadium and the music from outdoor festivals.
This house is very close to good restruants, coffee shops, bars and clubs, and a bakery. Athens is an amazing place full of music, arts, and the University of Georgia.
Right now there are four rooms that are available and I am trying to figure out how to list each room individually, I will give you the quick run down. In the back up-stairs bedroom, not pictured, there are two twin beds. In the front upstairs bedroom, pictured, there is one full size bed. In the downstairs little room, pictured, there is a twin bed. I also have a studio space up-stairs that can be equipped with air mattresses. The studio and the two upstairs bed rooms share a bathroom, and the little room downstairs shares a bathroom with my room.
I can imagine all the rooms getting rented by a single party for events like football season or graduation, or by a band that is traveling through Athens.
Ann and her cats and her house... everything was wonderful. It was the perfect place for us to stay during our visit to Athens. There were even fresh eggs from the farm! Thanks Ann!!
We only stayed with Ann for one very cold night but the house was warm and cozy. We were greeted by her cats and a note telling us to make ourselves at home, which we did. There were lots of books, an amazing view, and cool artwork. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was a nice experience.
It was wonderful staying with Ann! My room was very roomy and comfortable, and the house was very clean. Communication and hospitality were both great and I really enjoyed our conversations. The house is conveniently located next to UGA and downtown Athens. The historic Tree That Owns Itself is adjacent to the property. The house is decorated with a lot of interesting collectibles and I enjoyed the company of her cats. I would definitely recommend this place!
Ann was a perfect host. The house was very clean with plentiful amenities. Location of the house is perfect for easily walking to downtown Athens. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Athens.
Ann, thank you for a wonderful weekend. The homemade baked goods and hot coffee really hit the spot! Great location! Great communication. We will see you again soon! Thank you.
I was there for a concert at the 40 watt club and the location was a short walk distance from it, so it was really convenient !
The room was fine, the house very charmingly decorated with a welcoming / hungry cat.
I didn't get the opportunity to met an but everything was set for me.
Great location, friendly hostess and comfortable room. Would stay again!
Everything was splendid!
Such a great host!
My wife and I stayed at Ann's house for a UGA football game and had a great experience. The home is in a perfect location that is walking distance to downtown Athens and campus. I would definitely stay with Ann again in the future.
