See Miami from the perspective of a local. We’re in Historic Buena Vista EAST. Lux older homes-tree lined streets, & a 2 block walk to the Design District’s A+shopping, art, restaurants. The cottage is a perfect home base to explore the best of Miami. 10-15 min to airport, beach, and Wynwood. 1 bedroom w king bed, extra daybed, lux shower. Guests rave about our location, the tropical garden, & zen-like waterfall. Free parking but suggest walking & Uber.

The space
This modern 750 sq ft cottage is nestled in the amazing backyard tropical garden of a historic Arts and Crafts home. Walk directly out of your bedroom into a garden filled with tropical plants, birds singing, and a gentle waterfall. A quiet peaceful place to kick back and relax. A little oasis within 2 blocks of the exciting Miami Design District. If you are here for a little R&R, work or power shopping you should find what you need. Try morning coffee in the garden, use dedicated office space w fast Wi-Fi, a movie on one of the 2 TV’s. There’s also gym equipment: bench, free weights, yoga mat. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, towels and linens, extra pillows, and toiletries, washer/dryer. There are ample table and chairs outside to sit and enjoy the garden and water feature. On street permit parking is available and free. Citi Bike rental is two blocks away. Secure fencing and security cameras on property.
Just a couple of blocks from the Design District, Midtown Shopping and both small casual neighborhood and high end world class restaurants make this a perfect getaway. Beach Kit Rental Package is available. (Includes umbrella, wheeled cooler, blanket, chairs, towels.)
No smoking anywhere on the premises.

Guest access
Guests have full access to cottage and main garden area. There is coded entrance to cottage front door.
Guests find that they prefer walking to nearby shops and restaurants and use Uber or bike rental to get to the beach. If you have a car the permitted street parking helps assure there is usually an available parking space. Parking is FREE to registered guests. Please let us know if you will have a car.

Other things to note
Please note that Airbnb policy and our house rules require all guests be registered, so do make sure you include the correct number of people on booking. There is a $50 charge per person for violation of this policy.
