About this listing
It is a 34 square meter studio apartment in the touristic center of Dubrovnik. It has perfect location for young guests who like to have fun all night and then wake up and jump into the sea for awakening.
Inside there is one double bed and one couch that converts into an also very comfortable double bed. Shower and toilet are separate in case there are 3-4 people. It has air-conditioning, mini kitchen, fridge, TV, DVD... Furniture is new.
We suggest up to 3 people to stay, but if you want to save some money 4 can also sleep, especially if it's only girls or guys.
From season 2013 we are offering you premium prices for breakfast in doorstep distance, at a stylish food and wine bar called Gusta Me. Gusta Me is a place with a beautiful view on old city harbor and wide variety of fresh baked, cooked breakfast meals and beverages (Fun Studio prices 5-15 euros). Upon request we can arrange B&B package including breakfast and airport transfers.
We can arrange a small bed for little kids and we don't charge extra for it, you only have to notify us in time.
If you are coming by car, we strongly recommend you to park at the main town parking, which is only 10 minutes walking distance from the apartment. At this parking lot you would be able to buy daily, weekly or three-day parking ticket at the discounted rate.
The apartment is located in Ploče area, near the eastern entrance to the Old town Dubrovnik, and close to the most luxurious hotels in Dubrovnik – Excelsior and Grand villa Argentina.
Old town, beach, bars, restaurants, nightclubs, taxi, laundry shop, cafes and grocery shops are in 20 meters range. The best nightclubs in town are in 20-50 meters range. Guests don't need to use a car or public transport at all, since everything is in walking distance.
Other Things to Note
LOCATION IS A SUPERSTAR :)
Have Fun. Don't break stuff deliberately.
Don't make noise from 2-5 pm and after midnight. (Music)
Damir has been an efficient guest and proposed us a very nice apartment close to the old town (it rained in the studio!). It was brain new, clean and well equipped and the terrasse is very nice. We also met the landlords who are very nice and welcoming people. I highly recommend that place!
Me and My brother stayed at Damir's for four nights in July. I'll break this review into pros and cons and you yourself can decide if it is worth it.
There are a lot of external nice factors about the studio, such as the location, it's right outside one of the old city's gates, close to the Danje beach, a supermarket, ATMs, a bakery, and one or two nice restaurants.
Though the location seemed to be the only redeeming factors of this place. Like someone said before, the photos don't portray the studio in the state it is in now. There are cumbersome curtains, misc furniture, the bed frame is different. I have no idea how this studio is meant to sleep four people. My brother and I assumed the couch in the studio became a bed or something but nope. You have a one double bed. And the couch. I would say three at most, but in no way does this sleep four.
We agreed with Damir to be let into the studio earlier than the check-in time (around 8am in the morning) without any previous warning we suddenly couldn't check in until 2pm that afternoon. Damir suggested a place to drop our bags off not to far from the studio, which we did and spent the day at the beach waiting to check it. When we finally could Damir sent a friend instead of himself who was 15mins late to meet us. Pretty unprofessional.
The Wifi. After reading reviews before me, I can safely say the wifi has been a persistent problem that Damir clearly has no intention in fixing. We arrived with the wifi not even showing up on our phones, only on our laptops. We messaged Damir about it who said he re-started the router (which isn't even in the studio), but still doesn't show up on our phones a problem which he seemed to know about already. It probably got the wifi to work 2/4 of the days we spent there exclusively on our laptops.
We asked Damir about extra blankets (only one sheet on the bed as a cover. I get it, it's hot and summer but still) and received no response. I messaged Damir three times in a row about the wifi/blankets without ever getting response.
When checking out we were also told to leave the key with a certain restaurant, when I tried to give them the key they literally had NO idea what or who I was talking about. Only after about 10mins asking the manager repetively did he agree to take the key. I asked him if he was told about us giving him the key and he wasn't at all warned.
All in all this airbnb is cheap and in a good location with a shower and bed. You can decide yourself if it's worth the money. In my opinion, it isn't, if not solely based on our lack of interaction with Damir.

Damir's apartment was perfect for our trip to lovely Dubrovnik. It was very centrally located to the Old Town. Finding the apartment was difficult but Damir met us and helped us. Thank you!
The photos are very accurate, and the place is plenty spacious for 2-3 people. Location is also fantastic, right around the corner from the old town and across the street from a grocery store, a bakery, and a cafe. Overall we had a great experience.
Should be noted that the apartment had no WiFi, though it claims to. Granted there were extenuating weather issues that caused power outages while we there, so that might have been part of it, but we never got WiFi at the apartment during the trip, even though our host told us several times it would be back on that day or the next day.
Other than that, it was a great experience, and a very nice apartment. Would definitely stay here again
Nice and very simple.
Lovely location (litterally 50m from the entrance of the old city!) and very convenient (close to bakery, supermarket)!
Main point to add: the pictures shown are quite different from reality.. different bed, more furnitures (extra sofa, shelves and cupboard) leading to less space overall, somehow less light in the room and definitely not brand new as it could seem like. Additionally, no wi-fi as mentioned in the description.
Enough for us, used to low standards, but still key to know.
This place works for more than 200 nights a year so some parts of furniture get damaged or just depreciate from constant deep cleaning so we replace them with new ones, plus some extra stuff is also put in because of guest recommendations. This is the light issue for x time in comments so i will address it now, place is full of light but we have thick curtains on every window and glass wall because of sleeping, logic is people are here to visit City, so sleeping is better with less lights. But curtains need 10 seconds to remove totally and place will be bright as on the photos. I can see Linda is morning person, while i eat my breakfast at noon earliest, so if you are morning person remove the curtains and if you are night bird keep it as it is. :) We will rebuild and fix the place in January 2015 so no worries about next summer. And about the bed... I torch it every year after the season with my staff, its a team building event... :D
Easy to deal with. Damir's assistant met me with keys. Very clear instructions. Apartment is in great location.
