This is a apartment within a large secure block. There are three sets of lifts and it's on the 2nd floor.

Bedroom 1 – large double bedroom with plenty of space to move about.

Bedroom 2 – small double room with fitted walldrobe.

Kitchen -- fully quipped kitchen with 3 ring electric hobs, a washing machine and family sized fridge/freezer.

Bathroom – standard bath with shower, toilet and wash basin. Simple, bright and clean.

Beddings are provided. Please kindly bring your own bath towels. This is due to the fact that a few of the previous guests were unsatisfactory about home cleaned towels and the quantity supplied. I therefore decided not to provide towels any more, I am simply unable to meet the high expectation of some of the guests. I am also tired of trying to wash out stains such as make-up, baby oil, hair dyes etc from towels. My new towels are often subjected to uses which I am sure people won't do to their own towels.

I have 1 single sofabed and also baby cot with sheets available on request.

I would say this apartment is very well suited to a family of four or five. The location is great and everything is so conveniently located.

Because we live close to the flat (5min walk), so if you experience any problem, we can usually come around and help out pretty quickly. But we have jobs, so can't be on-call 24/7.

I also state that the apartment and the buidling is absolutely NON SMOKING. I expect all guests to respect this rule.

Just a few things I am clarifying from various feedbacks from guests, so guests can be clear about the apartment:
1. This is not a luxury hotel -- it's a comfortable home, but I don't stock piles of professional laundered towels and beddings. If you want professional laundered towels and beddings, I can hire them for you at supplier's cost from hotel linen services, the price quote is anything from 20 pounds to 30 pounds for a set.
2. Water pressure is low -- this is a common issue for flats in Central London area. I have new combi boiler, but the water pressure isn't something I can fix.
3. The building -- there are many other flats in the building. It's not a historic house or new build. It was built in the early 80s, plain looking and basic in communal areas. Please don't expect luxury carpeted corridors and flower decorations. The bonus is that it has lifts, many other flats in the area only have stairs.
4. Noise -- the windows have secondary glazing, but there are still light noises from the street. So if you are from a peaceful countryside, then it may be too noisy for you.

We are easy going hosts and we do our best to help and accommondate your requests. Any questions, please do ask.

  • Emplacement idéal, appartement propre, et agréable à vivre, propriétaire très gentille.
Nous recommandons, nous avons passé un bon moment.
Pour parfaire le tout, des rideaux plus opaques seraient appréciés dans les chambres.

  • I stayed in this apartment for a week. The apartment has an awesome location which was perfect for us (4 people). However as stated in description the water pressure is weak and the temperature is inconsistent. All in all, a great apartment for a tourist.

  • Wonderful location! Clean and tidy. The Host Hue was lovely and very helpful.

  • Location is great, if you are looking for a place in the heart of London, this is it. Just right next to China town, 5mins to Covent garden. A little bit noisy but except that, everything is perfect. Highly recommended.

  • This apartment had a great central location. It wasn't the cleanest flat I've ever stayed in - in fact, I wrapped my pillow up in my towel because I didn't want to put my face on it. The bedding was very tired.

This is a business that's being run here, And as a business, I really think they should invest in some new sheets from time to time. At £180 per night, they ought to be able to afford to plough 10-15% back into the business.

Apart from that, everything went fine. Communication was good, location was excellent, the block was very secure. We didn't find it noisy (but we live in Spain, so probably have different expectations of noise levels!). I just think a great little flat was soiled for a ha'p'orth of tar.

  • Location, location, location! We were in London to see plays and musicals as well as museums and this was an ideal spot, a moments walk from many shows. Lots of near-by pubs and within walking distance of many popular tourist spots. The building felt very secure, but was a tad noisy, if you like to sleep with the windows (website hidden) was very prompt to respond to email and let us in early and allowed us an extra set of keys which was an enormous (website hidden) was tight but adequate for two couples (this is London, after all). Decor was a bit grad-student flat, but certainly adequate. Also, good storage space if you are staying long enough to unpack.

  • The host was pleasant and accommodating. Situated in a council styled block in a very good location for shopping and theatres but noisy throughout the night. The Linen was sub standard, there was a damp aroma and second bedroom was quite small. Amenities were inadequate. Modern apartment, but standard more suited to backpackers.

  • Our host was accomodating. The flat was kinda small for 6 pax with just one T/B. But the place was super convenient and safe. we were in the center of everything. Public transportation is just a few steps away. The place was near shopping areas, restaurants, theaters, etc. We just love the location.

  • The apartment is just great. My wife and I spent 3 nights with 2 kids (9 and 14 years old) last May and we loved the location. The flat in clean, shower is great and both beds are excellent. Kitchen has all stuff that you may need to cook. The only minor problem is to rent on Sat., because it was a bit noise at night (at least in the night we were there), but all the other days were just fine. We recommend to all friends and looking forward to come again.

  • Our 4 day stay in 2bed Piccadilly was very comfortable and convenient. We found all amenities, beds, kitchen & bathroom satisfactory. The location of the apartment was superb, central to everything you want & need in London. Thank you Helen for providing this accommodation.
