Patricia was a dear, and her home was adorable, comfortable, cozy, very clean, and exactly what we needed after a hectic weekend away from home. Her place is located in a very nice neighborhood, and staying with her and George felt almost as natural as going to Mom's house. She made some lovely recommendations for us, provided all kinds of bathroom amenities, and even served us a delicious breakfast. Everything was perfect! We'd love to come back and visit again when we have time to stay longer.
This place is a gem! So clean, quiet, and safe. Close to everything, including a new Target and easy to get on the 271. Best of all, a gracious hostess and a yummy breakfast to start off the day. It made my visit to my hometown pleasant and easy.
Great location, hospitality, and a beautiful home.
We had a lovely stay with the the Bohnerts. They were very helpful in helping us find a place to eat and take a hike. The room was spotless and roomy and the private bath was great. The breakfast of fresh fruit and coffee cake was very good. If were to come through the Akron area again, we would be very pleased to stay there again.
Pat and her husband were warm and welcoming hosts. They were very accommodating and generous. The home was spotless. It's not far from Cleveland--and it's right next to an excellent park with a range of good trails. Pat was very helpful throughout the stay, sharing maps and even sending me off with a little goody bag and bottle of water for my onward journey.
Pat and her husband welcomed us in their home as if we were members of the family. They greeted us with cheese and crackers and we spent the whole evening sharing interesting stories over wine and chicken wings ;) The house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. We had a big and comfortable room with our own bathroom. Everything was really clean and well-prepared (towels, blankets, books, soap,...) which made us feel right at home. It was a pleasure to be there and it feels like we've not only gained a good night's rest but also two new friends. We highly recommend Pat's place for everyone visiting the area.

We love to travel in the US and abroad. We will choose a historic location, tour, or building over the beach. A walk through a national park before a mall visit. A symphonic or vocal milieu over heavy metal or rap. We choose any time we can to spend with the children and grands - whether that is at Cedar Point Amusement Park or on a local playground. We ride our bikes or walk in nearby Cuyahoga Valley National Park. We can direct you to the best local hamburger, spaghetti, and pierogi restaurants.
We can give you golf course recommendations and have visited almost all of Cleveland's and Akron's best known, as well as least known, venues.
Breakfast is included and will be served on our delightful, screened-in porch, weather permitting. If you need gluten-free or vegetarian, let us know in advance and we can accomodate. There is a cozy gas fireplace in the living room, books to choose, and an electronic keyboard if you are a pianist.
