The Space

In the heart of Paris (2nd arrondissement), and in trendy parisian area called Quartier MONTORGUEIL (à pedestrian street, full of bars/restaurants, typical foodshops... Bakeries, fruit and veggies, wine shops, chocolate shops, cheese/fromageries... Plenty of choice!). It is a foodie's paradise!

A metro station just in front of the building (M° Sentier, line 3) and RER A and B in Chatelet Les Halles will carry you direct to both Orly and Roissy Charles de Gaulle airports (5 to 7 minutes walk).

From our place, you will be able to visit and explore Paris ... just walking around : Marais, Les Halles, Seine river, Paris rive gauche, Grands Boulevards and the shops like Grands Magasins .. all is very close !

We propose a large and atypic apartment (loft type), of about 90 m² / 1000 squared feet. The ceilings are pretty high, sky-light comes from sky-domes and severalother little windows ...

It is an ideal place for 4 people, whether two couples, a family or a group of 4... Since there are 2 bedrooms with a double bed in each room. But it can sleep 6 people, since we have an air-bed (honouring the original airbnb idea/concept!)

Our minimum stay is 5 nights. Also our place is ideal for 4 but exceptionnally we accept 5 people depending on the group/family/party visiting. So check the calendar and send us a message to enquire!

It is honestly a great space to live, pretty generous in size for Paris standards...

There is a large living room with two large sofas, a kitchen and "salle à manger", two separate bedrooms with 2 large beds (each confortable for two persons).
But please note that there is only one bath and one separate toilet...

It is on 1st floor (without elevator), of an old typical parisian building - our place is also very quiet (the loft is entirely in courtyard) whereas in the street you have really a lot of activity.

Furnished in a contemporary style, pretty confortable et well equipped with all you will need for a great stay in Paris.

Very good and unlimited internet access (WIFI) included. Free phone usage for all international calls on fixe/land lines (most countries in Europe and US/Canada).
>150 TV channels through internet connection on our TV too!

Any question you might have, please ask ...

This is a no smoke / no pets / no party flat. Thanks for your understanding!

Finally if you are planning a longer trip to France and not only in Paris, you might want to have a look at our Nice seaside pied à terre (sleeps 4 too) on airbnb reference too. See under my name/profile in "my other listings"

  • Hi, I'm a buyer from South Korea.
I rented Marco's house in Paris for business trip.
This was my first time using airbnb, my boss and I were really satisfied with this house.
Comfortable furnitures, enough-big size room, the most best thing was the host, Marco.

He sent a mail attached 3 of files describe the location and how to use the appliances, where to shop and eat in Paris.

It was really useful and we enjoyed the cafe and restaurants he recommended during our days in Paris.

파리 여행이나 출장을 계획하고 계신 한국분들께도 적극 추천합니다. 가격대비 호텔보다 훨씬 쾌적하고 편안한 여행이 될것입니다.

  • My parents and I had a great time at Marco's place. The apartment is very conveniently located-- a small pedestrian street is just in front of the door, with all the small shops, bakeries, supermarkets, restaurants... very lively area. Metro station Sentier (#3) lies literally in front of the door. Line #4/8/9 reachable within 5 minutes' walk. It is so easy to get around.

The apartment is exactly as described- spacious, comfortable. I thought before that as there are only windows on the roof, the apartment might be too dark. No, it is not. It is cosy. We got more than enough sheets and towers, pots and pans, plates and bowls, cutleries... Nothing is missing. Marco even gave us one bottle of wine, provided us with coffee capsules (Mmmm, Italian coffee.... :))

Marco is such a nice host. He reached out to help us-- detailed guides for the area before our departure, quick response to our questions. As Paris train were on strike when we were there, Marco updated us constantly with the newest information with the strike development so that we can accurately plan our trip to Versailles, to Airport... He arranged everything in such a perfection!

Marco wrote to me and told me that we should not expect his apartment to be similar to 5-star hotels. Actually, it was indeed not-- who would get the feeling of home in a 5-star hotel? No, Marco's apartment was like not 5-star hotel, it is like home. He treated us like families.

Again, thanks so much for everything Marco, thank you for your hospitality, for your kindness, for your generosity... Best regards from Munich, from all of us. :)

  • Amazing time staying at Marco's flat. It's the PERFECT location and a huge space for central Paris. Close to all of the sites on a pedestrian only street lined with fresh produce, bakeries, cheese shops and cafes. The flat is immaculately clean and well organized. The washer/drier and coffee maker was key. Marco was the perfect host. Great with communication, accommodating with time schedules and just a genuinely nice person. I highly recommend this flat! Can't wait to go back.

  • Marco is an amazing host. Days before we reached Paris his emails had given all the information we needed about where we were staying, the surroundings, local transport and thing to do in Paris.
The apartment was just perfect. Every little detail was taken care of.
Marco had left juice, wine, spices, tea bags, coffee for us to name a few.
It was spotlessly clean and beautifully located.
    We are definitely coming back.
We met Marco a couple of times during our stay and found him extremely charming and helpful.
He helped us to arrange our transport back to the airport on our way home and even escorted us to our taxi.
The street is full of great restaurants and cafes. We sampled a few different cuisines. There are at least 3 supermarkets close by which was a blessing.

  • very satisfied not only with the apartment but the very helpful information from Marco!
A great location and everything was as listed with the apartment. Marco went out of his way to make us all feel welcome and had a wealth of helpful tips abut the area.

We would definitely stay at this apartment again.

  • We couldn't have been happier with our stay at Marco's place in Paris. Everything was as shown and described. The location was fabulous. Marco was a perfect host. Communication was great before and during our stay. He went out of his way to make recommendations for restaurants, shops, and sites to see - including searching out live jazz music for us. I would definitely stay here again if (when) I return to Paris and would highly recommend.

  • Very comfortable for 4-5 persons, spacious, well equipped and in a superb location. Direct RER line from both Orly and CDG airports, metro just outside. 4 metro stops to Eurostar Gare du Nord. Apartment is very quiet, proper size double beds with comfortable mattresses. Two large skylights give plenty of natural light and the absence of traditional windows only serves to protect from the street noise. Area is excellent, pedestrian street is full of cafes, food stalls and delicatessen shops. Famous bakery just outside. Walking distance to Louvre, Notre Dame etc. Marco is an exceptional host, very attentive throughout the whole trip and very quick to respond with very helpful recommendations. 100% recommended.

  • The loft worked very well for us--it is spacious and quiet and the location is fabulous. A charming, centrally-located pedestrian street with restaurants and food shops galore. I loved sharing the more authentic experience of "living" in a Parisian apartment (even if it was only for a week!) with my family. Marco was extremely helpful, accessible and willing to share inside info with us. A lovely way to visit Paris!

  • Wow, this was our first experience with airbnb and it could not have been better! Marco was an incredibly thoughtful, attentive, charming and responsive host, who made the stay special and super smooth. All of our needs were anticipated and surpassed, whether it was a shining, clean and well stocked apartment, or literature on Paris, or rapid communication. We visited over Christmas, and he even wrapped presents for us and left them under a sweet tree! The apartment was superbly located, steps from the Sentier metro, a 15 minute walk to the Seine, and right adjacent (email hidden)ly pedestrian market street. After a day spent jostling with the crowds, it was blissful to come back to a quiet, clean and comfortable space. We had two teenagers, and we were relaxed and very happy in the apartment. Overall, just a perfect experience in every way!

  • I only stayed on the day of arrival. Marco is a nice and warm host. However we could not continue our stay there as planned.
