Welcome to the heart of Lexington Park. This room is just 3 miles from Pax River Naval Air Station and just 10 miles from Solomon's Island, MD. Leonardtown, MD is just a short drive to Old Towne restaurants and The Wharf, a relaxing place to walk.

I'm a writer and generally work from home in the mornings so the house is usually quiet.

The space
You'll have your own private room with limited closet space. You’ll have a full shared bath room and access to the entire home. I️ have two rooms.
One has a single bed, I️ have a pop up box spring for the other and that can be set up with a twin mattress with 1 week notice.
Thank you. The home is not suitable for small children and your pets.
I️ will consider a longer lease if the calendar is open.

Where you’ll be

Lexington Park, Maryland, United States

My home is in a working class multi-racial neighborhood. The home is only 6 years old. It's generally quiet during the day, but can be a bit more noisy on weekends.

I've rented longterm and short term. Everyone has enjoyed their stay here and comments on how cozy and comfortable it is.
I pride myself on being hospitable while also giving you your privacy and space to come and go whenever you need.

(Please excuse my bad review... I was brand new at this and hadn’t figured it all out) I’ve since had great experiences using the app! Traveling and hosting. Welcome!! I’m a Writer with a love for research and dogs! I have a 12 year old Boxer named Bella who is a joy. I Enjoy photojournalism, watching movies/Netflix, cheering on my favorite sports teams and baking. I’m also assisting the local health department with our Covid -19 tracing. I’m very tidy and will have supplies on hand for you. Living in Maryland, I love the four seasons we are fortunate to experience; the fall colors especially and the beautiful spring flowers. . Enjoy a live orchestra held in the spring locally at the St. Mary's College of Maryland just 5-7 minutes away. It's so beautiful overlooking the St. Mary’s River. You can visit the restored Maryland Dove that is docked at the end of a beautiful path in Historic St. Mary’s City. Also Enjoy Linda’s Cafe here in Lexington Park and local antique shops. We also have local wine and design shops in Leonardtown and you’ll have to try The Front Porch for Sunday brunch and visit the Leonardtown Wharf for a relaxing stroll or put your kayak in. Some days you can catch a ride in the Seaplanes $100.00 for 30’ll want to bring your camera for that! St. Mary's County and Calvert also offer the best of the best when it comes to seafood. You must try the Maryland Blue Crab sandwich on Solomons Island at The restored Lighthouse Inn. It’s just 12 miles away (plan for the Johnson bridge). The Plank Salmon and their steamed shrimp are amazing as well. Kim’s has the best key lime pie as well. I hope you enjoy your stay here with us. It's myself and my lovely dog Bella. You may see my mother and a close friend ….that’s about it. My circle is small these days, especially with COVID. **** I use all Melaleuca Products from The Wellness Company. All Eco/Organic. **** If you require something specific such as a dehumidifier or air purifier please let me know. I just had my furnace serviced and the filters Changed... I try to keep the house as tidy as possible but like I said I do have a dog. She does not frequent the guest room however. Minimum stay is two days, maximum five. I have room for one adult, possibly two. Not ideal for kids or other pets. You would definitely need to travel by car as I’m outside of the city limits. We do have public transportation but I wouldn’t recommend at this time. They can only transport a handful now and they have enormous wait times. Blessings! Enjoy all that St. Mary’s has to offer!
