The condo was much more spacious than it appears in the images. The ceilings are super high which make it feel open and airy. The location is awesome. The brewery across the street with the sunny patio that welcomes dogs was so much fun. Cheers to this Suite!
Margot's listing is spacious. It's located in a nice part of Portland. It was getting pretty cold in the apartment in the evenings, but the heater helped a lot. The bathroom and the kitchen were clean as well. This place is good for short-term stays but it doesn't feel very cozy.
Margot was great - unfortunately we did not meet nor were we able to stay at her home because of a car malfunction, but Margot was absolutely super in helping us reschedule our stay. We'll be back !
Margot is a quality host, we were 4 person so the air bed came in handy. As others have mentioned the bed is very comfortable. Nice apartment with character.
The apartment was fine. There were problems on arrive that Margot quickly fixed. It is an old space and the paint and space show that.
It was extremely loud at night during our stay. There was no sleep to be had. There is an event space directly out side the windows. At night the apartment was lighter then the day. There we people and music until late in the night. I was unaware and very unhappy.
Wow! Audra I had no idea you were so unhappy. Indeed we have an event space downstairs and that is described in the description. The Saturday night wedding event including music, lights and guests ended by (website hidden) building was originally built in 1908 and we continue to renovate in order to preserve the vintage style. However the furnishings are all updated, I have only ever heard that people sleep very well so I am very sorry to hear you had such a mediocre stay and I hope you will have better success with Airbnb selections in the future.
The reservation was canceled 40 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
