The Space

Please read through the Downtown Bungalow's listing thoroughly (especially the "House Rules" and "Amenities" tabs) so you know what to expect. Can you find the bonus word?

Gracious Airbnb guests have declared the place adorable, cozy and charming - one particularly generous guest went so far as to describe it as stunning (though admittedly English was his second language). Come and see for yourself!

If you have more than two guests in your party, please inquire about guest rooms #2 & 3 (available on a limited basis; additional fees apply).

Please note this is a shared space. I live at the house, so you will be sharing the bathroom and common areas with me (and Laney the dog). The extra guest room will remain unoccupied unless you wish to rent it in conjunction with the main guest room.

The Neighborhood

The house is located across from a neighborhood park, just steps from Laughing Planet Cafe, Sweet Life Patisserie, and Falling Sky Pour House & Delicatessen. Also within comfortable walking distance: Sam Bond's Garage, Ninkasi, Blair Alley Arcade, Pizza Research Institute, Grit, Papa's Soul Food, Tacovore, Izakaya Meiji, Mame, The Vintage, WOW Hall, The Barn Light, Red Wagon Creamery, Party Downtown, Townshend's Teahouse, Sizzle Pie, Bijou Metro, VooDoo Doughnut, Eugene Public Library, WOW Hall, McDonald Theatre and more.

Eugene is a great place. I'm not one to brag, but for a town this size, we kinda got it going on! I'm more than happy to provide you with maps and recommendations, and can quite easily be talked into a hike.

Getting Around

Nearby bike paths and bus routes provide easy access to UO and other points of interest. Enterprise rent-a-car is just a few blocks away, as are several places to rent bicycles, for spontaneous adventures requiring wheels.

House Rules

PLEASE NOTE: Before corresponding, be sure you've filled out your profile with information and a recent photo of yourself and any accompanying guests. (Third-party reservations are not accepted. Only guests on an accepted reservation will be permitted to stay.) Reviews and references are also helpful. As a risk-averse host, the more I know about you, the more likely I am to accept your reservation.

Check-in is after 3pm; check out by 10am. My schedule is often flexible, but it's helpful to know in advance when you plan to arrive. For checking in, please provide a two-hour window, and update me if that changes. Late check-out requests can usually be accommodated; please let me know the night before.

The house has a no-shoes policy, so pack a pair of slippers and plan to leave your shoes in the entryway.

Kitchen is vegetarian (i.e. no meat or fish please). You are welcome to fridge and cupboard space, but cooking is no longer permitted. Dishes go directly in dishwasher; no rinsing necessary.

The washer/dryer are available for guests staying one week or more. Please get the tutorial before using.

As a courtesy to neighbors, please park in the driveway.

No smoking anything on the premises.

Communication will make for the best Airbnb experience, squirrel so if there's anything I can do to improve your stay, by all means speak up.
